Nokian WR A3 225-45-18-W Mazda mazda 6, CD129 2.2 6,000 miles April 8, 2014

Bought in October 2013 to prepare for the UK "winter". Got from Tireleader all the way from Germany at cost of 460GBP for four and paid 55GBP for changeover (kept my alloys on the car).
Noticeable grip in wet conditions and hitting puddles athe side of the road goes largley unnoticed. Now April 2014 and considering leaving them on as the fuel rating improvement over my summer tires has improved cosnumption by around 3MPG. UK had no real snow since fitting but even at -10 with ice on the road these tires felt sure-footed. Now the temperature is around 10 to 15degrees I am conscious that the Fronts are now starting to wear on the edges. Do I change or do I leave on???? Dry braking in warmer temperature may be reduced compared to summer tires.
The rim protector rib is an added bonus.
Overall, I have done 6000 miles since fitment and have definitely been happy with the purchase. The runner-up was Vredestein Wintrac extreme but the fuel rating was much lower than the Nokian.

great tire, not the comfiest out there, but it's not made for that....excellent feedback...holds well until the end
a slight minus that it needs some time to "warm up" before properly working. Would buy again for a sportier car, not a mazda 6 saloon (came fitted a oem)

excellent touring tire....it's not a sports tire, so feedback wont be great, but noise, comfort and consumption and wear are all amazing.

Previous tire was Bridgestone potenza re050A, that came with the car. Compared to the Potenza it is of course less responsive, but quieter and actually lighter (noticed when had to change them).
Pirellis have been on for a year and about 30.000km, still have plenty of tread left...
