Honda civic esi Tire Review Highlights

As another review said, the first year was good but second year the tires were heavily worn on the edges. Across most of the tire the tread was still legal. Even so the tire in the wet at this stage was appalling. Many times unexpected ABS or wheel spin. In the dry they are predictable but squeel all the time being pushed round corners. The worst thing about this tire is it hardly works on those wet days that are after a period of dry, so the road is a bit leafy/oily. They are like driving on ice! I'll never touch these tires again. I have Michellin CrossClimate on my other car (Zafira), and Goodyear 4Seasons before these on this car and both were suprioer in UK driving conditions (and cheaper). I have ordered Goodyear 4seasons again to replace these, even though they are still legal. Too dangerous for the coming winter season.

Definitely the worse tire I've ever tried. In braking and cornering their whistle is so loud that seems you're always at the limit.. indeed the limit with this tires comes really soon. But the real problem comes on the wet after about 5000 miles of use: the grip is terrible..and not in the sense that you have a poor grip but that the grip changes dramatically at each change of asphalt! to give an example: you are treading a wet corner at 60 mph, the next one has the same breadth but with different asphalt and sometimes happens that if you don't reduce to 45 mph your speed you can be sure to slip out, while all the other vehicles on your front are keeping the same speed with no problems!! Once I save only thanks to the handbrake! I add that the grip on the snow after 5000 miles is about the same of a normal summer tire.. I hope my set was defective, if not I ask myself how Kumho can sell a so dangerous product. Thrown in the trash..

Extremely good tires, a pair on the front gave enough cornering grip to induce oversteer(fwd civic, dry road)and I dont mean lift off o/s.Full set really hold.Always cornered confidently, even wet,no surprises.Front set lasted about 9k.Definately recommend.Id fit again but they dont make them the size I now need.
