Citroën 2.0 HDi 110 Tire Review Highlights

Writing about the Maxxis Premitra HP5 given 91% (195-55-15-)
Driving on a combination of roads for 10000 spirited miles
Theese tires are excellent in all conditions except in hard wet braking on bad asfalt. I am driving 2 and half years and they are still good.

Driving on mostly motorways for 200 easy going miles
Bought a set of 4. Plenty of EU driving at 130 kmph. Car handles very well, better than other budget tires have bought. I have just completed 1500km with a fully laden car in wet weather conditions. All felt safe, braking hard in the wet caused little problems of a wheel shake, but that maybe something else, as speed reduced so did the wobble.Fully confident in the use of these tires. Will report on wear in due course. Feel very safe tho.

Driving on mostly country roads for 10000 easy going miles
I live in North Wales. The minor roads are re-surfaced with loose stone. The roads are upsy- downsy with lots of bends. The usual budget tires and the premium tires will be chewed up within 9 months or less. the only tire to withstand these conditions has been the LS 288. Why can I not buy LS 288 to fit my car? I love them. Keith Williams

Driving on mostly town for 2000 easy going miles
Radar RPX800 M+S (MUD AND SNOW)
These were on my Citroen Xantia (HDi 110 Hatchback) on purchase, OK in the dry around town and quiet on Motorways very easy to provoke understeer on wet/damp roads even on a light throttle I can't imagine what they'd be like in the snow!!!
