Uniroyal RainSport 2 Reviews - Page 17

Given 100% while driving a Honda Civic Type R (205/55 R16 W) on mostly town for 10 average miles
I'm very pleased with the Uniroyals Rainsport2, it's amazing the difference you get by changing all the tires. The old ones were quite worn and I hadn't realised just how much this had effected the handling. These give good grip and are very good in the wet.

They call Uniroyal Tires the "Rain Tire", I can see why now!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!.

A good tire at a reasonable price.
This tire is made by "Continental"

UNI-ROYAL RAINSPORT2

This tire is the best!! i have 4 tires on my Toyota Corolla, i usually drive up and down motorways and i can feel alot of improvment than my previous tire which i had on called kuhmo, i have done roughly 5000 miles and the tire tread still looks normal as there hasnt been any wear on it.

You can feel the drive amazing, it sticks to the tar no matter how fast you are driving, and the best of all this tire is made for wet roads, i havent had a feeling of this drive anywhere on all my previous tires, it is OUTSTANDING!!!

This tire UNIROYAL-RAINSPORT2 is the only tire which i would buy for a reasonable price, and until you have tried this tire then youl believe it!!!!

Somehow as good as all the reviews say. I didn't think I'd be able to beat the michelin pilot sports but these seem to be almost as good in the dry and better in the wet for a lot less money.

Previously had 3 sets of Pzeors. The Pzeros are amasing in the dry, the harder you push them the more they grip. However in the wet the lose grip far too easy on such light car.
I replaced the Pzeros with Uniroyal rainsport 2's all round. Wet grip is fansastic. They do slide of corse as does every tire given enough of a push, but very good grip in wet. Dry is very good too, but not quite as good as the best. Very pridactable though wet or dry. Would recomend for UK driving, but if I lived in a dryer place I'd stick with Pzeros.

Fantastic all round tire! The best road tire i've used and i've used a few ! Stunning wet grip and all the dry grip you'll ever need! Have done 50+ laps of the nurburgring on this set of tires in wet and dry conditions plus four uk track days fantastic! Not as good as a real track day tire on the track but ok for 9 min laps of the ring in my diesel so must be ok.

Given 97% while driving a Toyota MK2 MR2 Turbo (/40 R18) on a combination of roads for 7,000 spirited miles
I drive a 1994 MR2 Turbo and I have been though my a few tires lets just say. Toyo, Bridgestone but this Tire just blew me away AMAZING. Any1 who drives a MR2 knows that you gotta be careful in the wet, so when I bought these I couldnt believe how much grip they really have. Simply the BEST TYRE YOU CAN BUY!!!!!!!!!!!!

Given 94% while driving a Rover 25 (205/40 R17 W) on a combination of roads for 43,000 spirited miles
i've done 5,000 miles on these around towns, country roads and motorway driving, mostly quite aggressively and they are stunning tires. Perhaps not up there with slick tires, in the dry, but pretty damned close and i think you loose about 5% traction in the wet; they are a treat to drive in the wet and you can almost not worry about the fact that it is wet with these tires on. There is barely any wear after 5,000 miles. They are no more noisy that a normal tire but you have to accept that with a 40 profile you do feel bumps.
All in all i cannot repeat how good these tires are, ESPECIALLY for the cost; compare supposedly better tires that will cost you 50-100% more. EXCELLENT TYRES

i changed my factory spec Eagle NCT5's when they came to the end of their life which was 17000miles,i then decided to shop about for a cheap yet big brand tire.I saw the reviews for Rainsport2 on this site and thought i would give them a go.I think these are fantastic they are much grippier and quieter than my old NCT5's were.I have done 5000miles since fitting the Rainsport2's and the wear is very low,i do tend to do about 70% of my driving on motorways, however these tires perform great in twisty country lanes. The tires could be pushed harder but unfortunatly the cars handling is not up to it.The are great tires,i would always recommend these tires. Why spend ?120 per tire when you can get these. fitted for less than ?70.

Wow.. never going to buy another tire again as long as they make this tire. The are amazing.. you point the nose at the apex and it just keeps on gripping!! I had the toyo T1R's before.. which were good.. but were usless after about 3.5k.. these tires are so much better from the start.. Only down side would be road noise is slightly louder than average.. but i only notice this as i drive a convetible.. I recommend you buy these tires!!

I bought the tires beacouse i read about them on this site...Everyone was telling me to buy Goodyear F1 tires, but I saw that they waren?t rated good...So i bought this tires and I can only say that I am stuned by the grip of these tires :) .I have them only for 400-500KM but man do they grip :) .I went yesterday to test them on a closed curvy road, and i drove very hard, every corner to the limit...The tires were sticking to road like glue :) .I recommend these tires to anyone to like to have control over his vehicle at all times
