Performance Analysis

Drawn from 3 tests. Updated October 29, 2026.

The Infinity Ecomax finished around the middle or lower half of Auto Bild's summer braking overviews, with no consistent leading stopping result. It placed 21st of 50 overall in 2020, 25th of 50 in 2022 and 32nd of 50 in 2023. Dry braking was 24th of 49 in 2020, 11.2% behind the best, and 24th of 44 in 2022 with a smaller 5.6% gap. In 2023 it was 32nd of 48, 11.1% behind the best.

Wet braking was comparatively better in the 2020 field at 19th of 49, though the stopping distance remained 13.6% longer than the best. It was 27th of 44 in 2022 with an 18.9% gap and 32nd of 48 in 2023 with a 22.6% gap. The tests used different sizes and conditions, so these results do not establish a deterioration over time; they show braking that was generally near or below midfield. These overviews contain no handling, aquaplaning, comfort or wear results to establish whether those areas offset the stopping-distance limitations.
