130/90 R17 Tires

Changed front & rear Pilot Street (non radial). And been riding for 3 months now. Dry grip is ok. Not good but usable under normal riding. But if push these tires a bit more, then u will wish u spend a little more for a better tires. Wet grip is unusable, quite slippery n not as expected or advertised by Michelin. Straight road is ok. But very slippery in wet condition in corners. Just need to slow n keep most upright at the corners on wet roads. I regreted buying them as I feel my life is worth much more then these tires. Need to ride slowly n carefully at the meantime. Save up money to change these Michelin tires. Never again I shall buy another Michelin tires.

Since my beloved Pirelli Phantom became unavailable, I've mostly used Metzeler, since there were few alternatives for my old Suzuki GSX 1100.

However, when I read about the new StreetSmart tires from Dunlop, I knew I had to try those.
Now I've been driving for a few years with these, in all thinkable conditions - heavy rain, dusty roads, highway/motorway, uneven surfaces in Ukraine, the Caucasus, Volgograd, etc - and right from the very first trip I knew this was THE tire for my motorbike!
They're perhaps even better than the Phantoms were. They gives confidence in their grip anytime and anywhere, they're the most comfortable tires I've ever used, and their wear rate is definitely acceptable. Last summer I drove some 12-13,000 km with these, with heavy luggage through the Balkan, Turkey, Georgia, Chechnya, Dagestan, Volgograd, Ukraine, and Poland. They give 100% confidence during braking, heavy rain, fast cornering, etc.
I can't recommend these tires enough! Thanks Dunlop, for making such tires for my Suzuki!
