255/75 R15 Tire Review Highlights
Writing about the General GRABBER AT2 rated 80%
while driving a GMC 4x4 truck
Driving on mostly town for 5000 miles
These are 31/10.50 ×15 (equivalent 255,75x15).
They are 2007 /2008 built.
They are the only tire I have seen over 5 years old not to crack and dry rot. The spare is way over 20yrs old, worn to max and still inflated.
Made in Mexico.
Look good, suit USA 4X4.
Please let us know any other tire in the world today that also has not failed to cracking quickly!!!
The grip is poor in the wet on tarmac, so tread carefully.
(Not many miles done so not much wear).
But all 50/50 on off road tires probably are not brilliant on tarmac. Or the chassis/handling of 4x4.
Good on dirt tracks.
Sadly produced till 2018 only. Are AT3 the same compound/crack free? Or any General Grabbers?
Would I buy again-yes, start remaking them!!!
If generals ok for the dukes of hazard, OK for me.

Writing about the Goodyear Wrangler UltraGrip rated 86%
while driving a Vauxhall frontera
Driving on mostly country roads for 6000 spirited miles
The tire really grips at dry roads below 5c to -16c (have not used below minus 16 ),
but above 20c seem to slide slightly .
Wet weather grip at what ever temp is really good .
Snow and Ice can not be faulted and will only let go with the biggest Lunacy .
Tire can glog up on wet mud . But clears quickly on dry surfaces including grass .
A bit expensive but worth the money .
