Jeep Libery Tires

I was using Nokian snow tires for a few years (just in winter) when I got pretty poor and used them all that summer. And they still had good enough tread to be used again that next winter. Amazing tread wear for a winter tire compared to the high end Blizzacks that if you go over a spot of dry ground looses a 32th" of tread. So I decided to try the Outpost APT when I got new tires figuring (hoping) they would last as long and I won't need snow tires again. They have exceeded all expectations. They have over 30,000 miles these last 2 years and still look new to me and I am a tire beater. I hunt and drive on gravel roads up in the woods for hours sometimes. Had to commute to a new job 30 miles there and 30 miles back 4 days a week for a year. Always comfortable, good handling, riding tires. Best I've had. Just turned in the 2007 Jeep liberty they were on and bought a milder Rav 4 and put a set on them hoping for the same experience.

I would not at all recommend these tires, they are terrible on ice, they have no grip at all when on ice sitting at a light you just spin . Any acceleration while driving on the highway with snow and or ice, be prepared to fishtail each and every time. Very uncomcomfortable driving on these tires.

Only had them on for a couple of weeks but so far so good. No snow here this time of year but they ride well, low noise, and great on wet roads.

These are a heavily treaded all terrain tire. They are designed for the rough, They came new with 12mm of tread, they are 3 peak mountain snow rated. They are the same pattern as BFG all terrain MK1 at a fraction of the price. I paid £60 each. They have seen snow, mud and heavy rain over the last 12 to 18 months. I live in the Welsh Hills. The roads are pretty poor. These tires are excellent. They grip in all conditions. They will push wide in the wet, but that's to be expected, they are not a high speed tire. They are relatively noisy compared to road biased tires, but not excessively. They don't make long journeys a drag. Fuel wise I have lost around 2mpg compared to the nexen Rodians that came on the Jeep. I have run them for 14 months and have lost 2mm tread. On motorway, and rural roads, back roads and off road tracks. They have a really stiff sidewall, they were hard to mount and had to be warmed to flex and be able to fit on the rim. However they balanced easily. Really good quality remould.

They started with over 12mm of tread, they are remoulds using the old bfg all terrain pattern, they are 3PMS snow rated. I have run them on motorway, back roads, snow, deep muddy fields and confirm, they defy all expectations of a remould. They balance well although are difficult to mount due to a really stiff sidewall. They are obviously noisy compared to a road tire, and slightly more than the Goodyear Wrangler AT that was originally fitted. Fuel economy has dropped only by 1 or 2 mpg. In snow they are strong and grippy, no squeal in rain, mud they just dig in, used recently to recover several cars bogged in at a camp site. I have run around 6000 miles, barely a mm has gone from tread.

i dont trust goodyear service anymore i had a nail in my tire and they told me it was non reparable and i had to buy a new one, but i told them no, i went to another mechanic and they fixed my tire in 10 minutes. Goodyear is trying to rip people off. i dont recommend it to anyone.
