Best Possible tires on market, and best ones I've ever driven. if You want the best 4 the road, best sport, best overall (grip wet, grip dry, feedback, braking, comfort) , not to mention the price which is a laugh, or at least was 4 me. Gets criticism 4 wear, bur please people - it's a sports tire! Definitly would recommend to anyone!!!

Truly amazing tires, I initially had doubts about getting these tires as I thought they're gonna be too sticky (I wanted to keep my back end nice and mobile you see, something that my old Pirelli P6000 were more than happy to do! They were great for drifting...). Thought i'd take the chances as they were available for such a good price from c***ills for less than 100 quid a corner).... Turns out my worst fears were correct! These are truly amazing tires in every way, the dry grip is borderline insane, and when you do reach the limit, it is extremely predictable, despite the dizzying speeds you'd be carrying. Wet grip is even more impressive though, I have the confidence to actually drive my RWD turbo with no electronic aids at decent speeds, something that I never dreamt of with the old P6000, if you look at how wide and deep those circumferential grooves are, you can just tell that these tires will not know how to aquaplane. If you value your life, and enjoy having a reserve of grip in almost any situations, look no further. They're such good value at 97 quid a corner, anything from Michelin/GY/Bridgestone were at least 20 pounds more. I can't really see how they can be worth that!
Although they're amazing, they've now completely ruined my car for its intended purposes (drifting). So.... bring on the Linglongs when these Dunlops are finished!! (quite soon I think as the compounds are sportbike tires soft)

Recently replaced the (dealer supplied) Pirelli P6000's with these even though the Pirellis were in good condition as they are a terrible premium tire. The Dunlops however are excellent. The Traction control light that was formerly almost always lit when pulling out at junctions slowly is a rare sight now with spirited driving. The tires give progressively on the limit and give great feel, even with the mediocre steering of the CLK. I paid an excellent price for these tires, cheaper than any other up to date rated premium UHP tire and I am very happy.

A truly amazing tires. They are very comfortable and cruising is a pleasure! My car feels and handles so much better. I can say they offer great grip (dry & wet)good wear, great feedback and are very quiet on the motorways. In the wet it's one of the best tires.

I decided to try something new and put these RT's on the front because I was looking for the best of the best tire in terms of maximum cornering grip in dry and wet conditions. I read all the tests en reviews and came on these. A tire with dynamic steer performance without a compromise. The best of the best.
I have one word: Excellent. Steering feel is so exactly and the limits are very far away. I drive 45 high tires but they are still very comfortable as well in damping (and low noise levels) because they have soft shoulders and are made of soft compound. The strange thing is that the soft shoulders are very strong in cornering. I think because of the extra big shoulder blocks in this tire profile!? The secret of the manufacturer. New: Sport and comfort it can both in one tire.
The only weak point is the high wear rate. Because of that I put them only on the front and back I keep Pirelli Pzero Nero with strong hard compound and shoulders. A very good combination. Tires with hard shoulders on the front wheels gives tramlining, but with these RT's that problem is totaly away.
Would I buy again? Yes. Fun to drive.

One of the best tires for every day use. These RT are so much more comfortable as f1 gds3 that I had before. Day grip was the same, and in rain it's one of the best tires! Would buy again for road use for sure.
minus is only not so stiff sidewals and when you corner it's not as sharp as f1 gds3 or rs-r, but that's why it's so comfortable! But you can still drive fast road with them and they will not give up so easily.

This is a comfortable tire. Braking on dry is good. Looks good too. On the negative side is that it is not calm and stable as the Goodyear F1 asy 1. These were my previous tires and they were much better. This tire feels like a normal good tire compared to them, not a high performance sports tire. Also these are noisier even at 100 km/h than the F1 asy. Also on curves - I don't feel them glued and sure footed like my previous. You can't go around obstacles as easy as with my previous. You can't drive so fast and easy especially on less then perfect roads. All in all a good tire, but not from the same class as the goodyear.

I put these tires on my car recently. I was driving with Pirelli P7 till now. Dunlop SportMaxx RT are very comfortable, with excellent grip on dry road. I have also opportunity to drive them trough rain, and they were very good. No sights of aquaplaning at all, very good at water diversion, with low braking resistance when driving trouhg some splashes. Braking on wet surface is above good. This tires are very quiet, noise level is on a very good level. Dunlop Boys put out an excellent tire, but there is one principle minus. WEAR!!!!! Tire is too soft, okay, for dry asphalt there is plenty of grip, of course for wet road run this soft wear above good, but the durability on hot asphalt? This is the main problem with this tire for me. I would prefer this tires with a harder compound.
