Methodology & Configuration
Scoring Process
  1. Collect Test Data: Gather results from professional tire tests across multiple publications. Minimum 1 test(s) required.
  2. Normalize Positions: Convert test positions to percentile scores using exponential weighting (factor: 1.2).
  3. Apply Recency Weighting: More recent tests are weighted higher with a decay rate of 0.95.
  4. Incorporate User Reviews: Factor in user review data (minimum 5 reviews). Weight: 15%.
  5. Bayesian Smoothing: Apply Bayesian prior (score: 7, weight: 1.5) to prevent extreme scores with limited data.
  6. Calculate Final Score: Combine all components using normalization factor of 1.1. Max score with limited data: 9.5.

Given 43% while driving a Chevrolet Suburban (285/45 R22) on mostly town for 0 average miles
I bought this since this is a mid tier tires. But this tires with lots of tread life for some reason gets bulging. When time to replace the shop guy says this brand is known for bulging easily. Go but other brands

Given 30% while driving a Audi A6 Allroad 3.0 TDI (235/55 R18) on a combination of roads for 0 average miles
Used Audi A6 Allroad bought recently with these tires fitted, 6mm tread depth all round, having covered 800 miles in the three weeks I will without doubt be having these tires off my car as soon as possible. Wet grip is almost non-existent having let go twice in the wet on roundabouts at very moderate speed, they roll under in moderate cornering in the dry, tire pressures are at manufacturer recommended. Cannot comment on wear though comfort, in a straight line, is reasonable. I will not buy in future

Rover Range Rover Evoque SD4 pure (245/45 R20) on a combination of roads for 0 average miles
In all honesty I have replaced my dessert hawk Achilles Tires on my Range Rover Evoque twice in 1 year. Each time at 3am or 9:30pm I drive 2000km once a month I drive alone I replaced my tires last year November and January at 9:30pm 20km from the nearest town it goes bye bye. I have a 4yr old son safety is important to me. Now I need to pay R3000 again per tire not even 4 months later I really dont understand how this happens. The 1st tire when I got out at 3am 30km from the nearest town the thread at the back just came off. Please explain why I should even recommend these tires as they just dont last

Given 91% while driving a Jeep Wrangler 4.0 (275/55 R20) on mostly country roads for 45,000 average miles
Excellent value for money. On my jeep wrangler it gripped well in all conditions. Would not recommend for any off road other than sand in which they perform well. Last 50000k have gone slightly out of balance around 85-90kph due to rounded edges but apart from that a very good tire.Could get balanced but about to replace anyway.Has kept grip even till now when they are just about worn out

Given 61% while driving a Citroën C Crosser (225/55 R18 V) on a combination of roads for 6,000 average miles
Performs well on warm/hot dry roads but is let down by poor wet performance. Not particularly suited to UK road especially during the cold wet months.
