Which should you buy?
Choose the Falken ZIEX ZE320 if dry stopping and a quieter ride are your priorities. Choose the Bridgestone Turanza 6 if predicted tread life and efficiency matter more, while bearing in mind the variation in its handling assessments.
Where the Turanza 6 is stronger
- Bridgestone Turanza 6: longer predicted life and lower abrasion in ADAC's 2026 test
- Bridgestone Turanza 6: lower fuel use in both 2026 tests and lower rolling resistance at UTAC
- Bridgestone Turanza 6: secure wet handling in UTAC's 2025 test
Where the ZIEX ZE320 is stronger
- Falken ZIEX ZE320: shorter dry braking in all three shared tests
- Falken ZIEX ZE320: quieter subjectively in Vi Bilagare's 2026 test
- Falken ZIEX ZE320: fourth and fifth overall in the two 2026 tests
Conclusion
In Vi Bilagare's 2026 summer test, Falken finished fourth and Bridgestone fifth; in ADAC's 2026 test they were fifth and sixth. Falken's dry-braking lead is the clearest repeat, stopping about 4% shorter at Vi Bilagare and 7% shorter at ADAC, though the gap was only about 1% at UTAC in 2025. Vi Bilagare rated Falken quieter from the driver's seat, while giving both tires the same comfort score. Its wet-braking lead there was small, and their wet handling times were effectively level.
UTAC's 2025 combined test produced the unusual result: Bridgestone finished fourth of 14 and Falken 13th, the lowest-placed summer tire. Bridgestone stopped about 7% shorter in the wet and received the higher subjective wet-handling score. UTAC's testers described unexpected wet skids on Falken and poor braking in cool conditions. That contrasts with the close 2026 finishing positions and ADAC's positive assessment of Falken's wet handling. ADAC's measured wet braking was mixed: Bridgestone was narrowly better on asphalt, but Falken stopped about 6% shorter on concrete. ADAC also measured better straight and curved aquaplaning resistance for Bridgestone, whereas Falken led in straight-line aquaplaning at UTAC and narrowly at Vi Bilagare. Neither has a consistent lead in that discipline.
For longer-term running, Bridgestone has the clearer advantage. ADAC predicted about 48% more mileage and measured lower abrasion; Bridgestone also used a little less fuel in both 2026 tests and had lower rolling resistance at UTAC. Its handling assessments differ, though: Vi Bilagare praised its precise, neutral balance, while ADAC found imprecise steering and early loss of grip as the tire heated up. Falken suits drivers who put dry stopping and quietness first, but its wet result at UTAC and shorter predicted life in ADAC's test matter. Bridgestone better suits drivers prioritising mileage and efficiency, with the qualification that its handling and wet results vary between tests.

Wins count every measurement the shared tests recorded for both tires; a tick marks the tire ahead on that line. Subjective driver scores count as wins but are never averaged, because each test uses its own scale.
Head to head in 3 tests, 2025 to 2026
Each row is one published test in which both tires ran on the same car, in the same size, on the same day. The line is the whole field, winner on the left.

In each test the better of the two figures counts as 100% and the other as its share of it, so a 118 ft stop against 112 ft is 95%; each spoke averages the shared tests that recorded it. The scale stops at 97%: a point further in sits on the hub's edge, hollow. 9 measurements recorded in only one shared test are left off; every measurement is in the table further down.

Braking distances and lap times are better when lower; speeds, wear and grip figures when higher. A test's figures are its own: sizes, cars, surfaces and temperatures differ from one to the next, which is why the averages here are only ever of tests the two tires shared. "Scored" rows are subjective driver ratings: each test uses its own scale, so only the wins are counted.

Comfort and refinement are the clear headline, with about half of owners mentioning low road noise and a smooth ride, while wet grip is widely praised by those who discuss it. Owners are overwhelmingly happy with the Falken ZIEX ZE320, with consistently strong reports of dry grip and confident handling, backed up by positive wet-weather feedback. Around half of owners who mention it also find road noise low for the class, and a third highlight sharp steering response. - Strong dry grip
- Low road noise for the class
- Confident wet grip
- Sharp steering response and good feedback
- Mediocre rolling resistance (worse fuel economy)
- Questionable tread life for some owners
- Can lose performance in very high heat

All 18 ZIEX ZE320 reviewsPut these on after having them on other cars in the past, much better than the unbranded/budget tires they replaced. They’re good in the dry and wet, fuel economy is good on them and there is minimal noise from them. For everyday driving I think these are the perfect mix of performance and value.

Reading the results
Written from the test results and owner reviews above. It is analysis, not a measurement: where it and the tables disagree, the tables are right.
Three independent tests put these tires side by side: Vi Bilagare and ADAC in 2026, and UTAC in 2025. The Falken ZIEX ZE320 finished one place ahead of the Bridgestone Turanza 6 in each 2026 test, but Bridgestone was fourth against Falken's 13th in UTAC's combined summer and all-season test. The 2026 results are much closer than the UTAC positions suggest.
Across all three tests, Falken stopped shorter on dry roads, most clearly in ADAC's 2026 test. Bridgestone used slightly less fuel in both 2026 tests and had lower rolling resistance at UTAC; ADAC also forecast substantially longer life for it. Wet results were less uniform. Bridgestone was stronger in wet braking and handling at UTAC, while several wet measures were close at Vi Bilagare. ADAC found different wet-braking results depending on the surface, alongside better aquaplaning resistance for Bridgestone.

Finishing positions and measurements are transcribed from each published test. A test only counts here when both tires ran in it, so every figure was recorded on the same car, size and day as the one it is compared to.
About the TR Score
The Tire Reviews Score rates each tire out of 10 from every independent test result and vetted owner review we hold, so two tires can be compared even before a test has run them together.
Who does the testing
Every test published as a Tire Reviews test is run by Jonathan Benson, who has been testing tires independently since 2007.
