The Zeetex WH 1000 tire demonstrates below-average performance across most driving conditions. On dry roads, it offers only adequate steering feedback and precision, requiring frequent corrections. It tends to oversteer during dynamic maneuvers, and its braking distance is longer than average. Wet performance is also rated as merely adequate, with satisfactory results in braking and aquaplaning tests but weak handling due to low grip and poor combination of longitudinal and lateral forces. Winter performance is slightly better, rated as satisfactory overall. The Zeetex WH 1000 has repeated wet-braking weaknesses across four winter comparisons. It ranked 42nd of 55 in Auto Bild’s 2024 braking test, 22.3% behind the best, 40th of 49 in wet braking in 2021, 27.7% behind, and 36th of 49 in 2020, also 27.7% behind. ADAC’s 2024 16-inch test placed it 8th of 12 overall, but wet braking was 11th of 12 on both surfaces, with deficits of 13.1% and 15.1%. The testers also criticised low wet-handling grip and imprecise dry-road responses with a tendency to oversteer.

The ADAC result offers limited compensating positives. Predicted mileage was 6th of 12 at 44,100 km, and the testers favored projected mileage and wear resistance, but that is a forecast rather than owner-confirmed service life. Ice braking was joint 7th of 12, 9.3% behind the best. Snow traction and straight aquaplaning were both last of 12, with deficits of 11.9% and 18.4%, while snow braking was joint last and curved aquaplaning tied for worst. Dry braking was 11th of 12, 6.2% behind. The broader 2024 test therefore adds snow, aquaplaning and handling reservations to the wet-braking weakness seen in the larger Auto Bild fields.
