The BEST Streetable Track Tires in 2026 Tested P2 of 5

The Vitour Tempesta P1+ was the strongest “one-lap window” tire of this group. After a gradual warm-up lap, the first push lap was outstandingly quick and the tire felt sharp, direct and very grippy. The problem was that the thermal drop-off came quickly: by lap two it had lost a lot of performance, and by lap three it had fallen away further before settling at that reduced level. By the end of the run, the rears and even the left front were clearly overheated. When it was in its window it was very likeable, with excellent grip and direct steering, but the rear axle eventually felt like it had fallen off a cliff. It is a fast tire in a narrow operating window, but not as strong as the Nankang over repeated laps.
