Goodyear Eagle F1 Asymmetric 3 Reviews - Page 14

Given 90% while driving a Audi A3 Sportback (225/45 R17 W) on mostly country roads for 2,000 average miles
I had gislaved ultra speed and i was not happy at all, to much wheelspin. I was between michelin ps4 and goodyear asym 3. I choose the second cause they were cheaper. After 2000km so far Eagle f1 asym 3 are so comfortable and quiet. Also the grid on wet and dry is fantastic. I would buy the same tires for sure. Will recommend soon.

Given 99% while driving a Honda Civic Type S 2.2 i CDTi (225/40 R18) on a combination of roads for 500 spirited miles
Had Dunlop SportMaxx RT before I fitted these ones, which were good/very good I thought.
Dry and wet grip is much better, comfort has improved big time, which surprised me! Handling and braking excellent! They do give you confidence.
Can't wait for the summer really, because what these tires offer in current temperatures and crap weather is amazing. Hard to imagine how much better these will perfrom in +20 and dry conditions! Definitely will buy again! Brilliant price as well from blackcircles! Well recommended!

Given 89% while driving a Ford Focus ST 225 (2003 2007) (225/40 R18) on a combination of roads for 1,500 spirited miles
Having put these on my Stage 3 Focus ST (320BHP) and they work very well. Dry grip is fantastic considering the amount of torque this car produces.
Wet grip is pretty good too, You do get some wheelspin but with the correct throttle you can pull off with minor spin.

Can't comment on wear and comfort seems like any normal performance tire.

Given 98% while driving a Audi A3 s3 2.0 tfsi (225/40 R18 W) on a combination of roads for 1,000 average miles
Just had these AS 3's fitted to my Audi s3 8p they have replace my old
Goodyear AS 2's ,feel almost the same but better in the wet although
Not sure about the new look profile / sidewall the AS 3 looks a lot
Chunkier than the older AS2 which looked like a low profile maybe that's
Why that have change it ?
Seen lots on the net about sidewalks splitting on the AS 2 but it's all about how
They feel & drive which is an improvement on the AS2 in the wet only
Time will tell on the wear side of things but great in the wet 👍

Given 95% while driving a Skoda Octavia VRS (225/40 R18) on mostly country roads for 1,000 spirited miles
Initial review so can't comment on wear. 225.40 R18 on the front of my VRS.

Had Conti Sport Contact 3s, then the Goodyear eagle F1 asymmetric 2. The asymmetric 3 feels very similar to the 2, has no issues with grip in these colder temperatures, has a nice steering feel and is quiet. Will update the review once a few more miles on them.
