How this score is built

Source Better than Weight
Independent tests1 test · 1 publication · 2026 74% 100%
Owner reviewsNo owner reviews yet – 0%
Combined 74% 8.5

A fixed curve turns the combined figure into the 0 to 10 score, so roughly the top 10% of a group score 9 or more.

Held at 8.5: a tire needs 3 independent tests to score higher.

Category by category

How it compares with other all-season tires in each area, and how much each area counts. 50 is the middle of the group.

Category Better than Weight Tests
WetBraking, handling and aquaplaning in the wet 36% 46% 1
DryBraking and handling on dry roads 93% 36% 1
SnowBraking, traction and handling on snow 25% 10% 1
ComfortNoise and ride comfort 67% 8% 1

Faded bars rest on one or two tests. This tire does not carry the 3PMSF snowflake mark, so Snow counts for less and Ice not at all against all-season tires that do.

The BEST High Mileage All Season Tires in 2026 Tested P2 of 5

The Dunlop Blue Response A/S finished second and is an impressive first all season touring tire from Dunlop under Sumitomo. It was best in test for dry braking, the quietest tire on the meter, and the best on cost per warranted mile, and it was second only to the Continental for subjective dry handling thanks to a calm, neutral balance that keeps the rear axle settled in an emergency lane change. It also had the best snow performance behind the Bridgestone. Its one clear weakness is straight aquaplaning, where it was last in test, and its wet braking and wet handling sat behind the two quickest tires. A very well balanced tire with a single, specific flaw.
