BFGoodrich Winter TA KSI
The BFGoodrich Winter TA KSI is a Nordic studless winter touring tire with strong snow handling and ice braking in its single test. Wet stopping is a clear weakness, and comfort trails better alternatives.
In the 2020 Consumer Reports North America winter test, it earned Excellent ratings for snow handling and stopping on ice. Those are its clearest strengths as a studless winter tire. It nevertheless finished 13th of 17 overall in the 215/60 R16 comparison.
Wet stopping was rated Poor, so its winter-surface ability does not extend to equally reassuring braking on rain-soaked roads. Testers also noted more comfortable winter tires and alternatives with better handling. This assessment rests on one independent comparison, without exact stopping distances or detailed discipline placings; it gives no basis for a tread-life claim.
