Came on my Audi S3 part worn when I purchased them. Maybe 3-4mm of tread left. Since then I've put on nearly 3k miles and they've performed very well. Grip has been very solid in the dry. Responsiveness has been middle of the road and comfort has been fairly standard. Wet performance however, has been less than stellar. But I don't expect that coming from a performance tire. Overall, I would purchase again. But I tend to prefer Uniroyal Rainsports for their all round coverage and find PS4s to be a bit soft wearing despite their OBVIOUS performance benefits.

Inherited a Superlight R400 with Avon ZZR 185 / 55 / 13 front , 205 / 55 / 13 back , which I use hill climbing pretty good in dry , fairly progressive but very average in damp , very early breakaway no warning , tires are 4 and 6 years old so might be age , I run 18 psi at a climb , might be too high , are they as good as Toyo R88R that I ran on a Subaru Spec C with 445 bhp , dont quite think so they seem harder and more snappy even in dry

Grippy, stays on boil on consecutive laps and lightweight construction makes it ideal for the likes of the Caterham 7 and Elise. Although not as useful in the wet as the ZZS and not as hardcore as a racing slick, it offers a sensible compromise between both.

I'd suggest this is primarily a track car though, not great for year round road use as it doesn't work well at low temperatures or in any standing water.

The dry grip from these tires is astounding. It doesn’t matter how hard I try I cannot break traction (on the road) I’m extremely impressed by them. Mine are pumped up to 38psi though as they didn’t perform quality as well at 33. So just be sure to keep the pressure high in them and you’ll be laughing past c63 amgs in the corners.

Wet grip is a very different kettle of fish. You need to slow right down as they’re just outright dangerous. Aquaplanes very easily.

I dont drive fast try to keep it smooth ,the fronts didn't last long,and broke away earlier than expected,the Alfa is no go-kart but on these (full set ) it was progressive understeer that let you know you had reached the limits of chassis, good on motorway gave confidence in wet conditions.pulled up well not that upset by uneven surfaces ,
7500 miles out of the fronts,plenty of wear left on rears.will have camber checked ,see if this improves handling

They are on my Lotus Exige S2
They have done 3000 miles in road trips to track days
6 full track days and still got 3mm tread on the rears (5mm fronts)
fantastic in the dry & still good in the wet.
Other Lotus guys rate them better than Yoko 48 / toyo r888

I use this tire on my Caterham, gives astonishing levels of grip in the dry but not so much in the wet (It is a trackday/race tire after all!) would highly recommend for track users

these wore unevenly at the correct pressures. i managed to destroy the sidewall of one of them on a pothole, which was both surprising and unwelcome. they have been good tires generally although tendency to light up the rears when pushing it so i dont think the grip is the best, however the car has a lot to add to this!

good value tire, good in the wet, a little prone to flat spots when left for a while, they wear well. Side wall quite thin does not protect rims at all.
