They came new on a second hand Ioniq 28kWh, but swapped them for Continental AllSeasonContact 2 after about 32000km. The rears still had between 6 and 7 mm and the fronts still had between 5 and 6 mm. However that's about the only positive thing about them. They make a very noticable whining sound that increases in pitch with speed. It gets amplified when there is rain. The grip is okay as long as it's dry and warm, but the steering response is vague and driving straight is difficult. Once it gets cold, they lose grip quickly, below 4 degrees it's surprisingly easy to get the abs to work. Seems like a very hard compound of rubber. These tires don't feel safe in case you need to make an emergency stop. Since switching to the AllSeasonContact 2 the car is a joy to drive again, such a stark difference.

I would NOT recommend these tires if you get given the choice.

When i bought this tires, i swear... I never Heard anything for this brand, i said "another chinese brand", for My surprise, i can read in the face the legend "Made in Germany" so... I search on the internet and Discover the brand, is a netherland's brand... And very cheap. I need change My old tires (Hankook ventus prime Evo 2). Is the Best thing i make for my old good car. Silent, firm, Nice to drive, no noises, very resistant (1st day, literally i "eat" the most gigantic bump on the planet, the tires still in form) i recommended the tyfoon's tires.

I bought my Tyfoon Eurosnow2 as second hand, and I honestly don’t know why anyone would want to upgrade. They’re excellent value for money, the wear is barely noticeable and they are quiet.

Done 5000km's (3100miles) so far on these tires and so far they perform perfect, no signs of wear what so ever. They tend to feel a bit 'vague' when cornering hard and the sidewall is on the softer side. But they are very good for comfort. Not much noise and they absorb bumps well and are very good in the rain. (Resists aquaplanning quite ok)

Braking is good as well, but when doing an emergency stop, the tires tend to screech and lose a little traction. (More than the previous Uniroyal)
Price was a little high in my opinion, but if i could get them with a discount, i'd get them again.

I purchased my Tyfoon All Season tire in 2010 after the very severe winter of 2009,by using them only during the winter months, I have at this point in time had 8 years of use from them.These tires are a very good investment, I would certainly recommend them.
