Purchased my Mini Cooper S with Pirelli P-Zero Run Flats, absolutely awful - no confidence at all, any slight bump would dramatically unsettle the car to the point where I could feel the car slide sometimes. Swapped to the Falken ZE310’s for a cost of £300 for all 4. WOW WHAT A DIFFERENCE!!! My Mini has been transformed, Chuck it into bends now and it just grips, no sliding or any noise of the tires struggling. Occasionally wheel spin in 1st gear but that’s understandable from a FWD car running north of 200bhp. Covered around 1000 miles so far and it’s so much better on the road all round, whether you’re cruising or flying down back lanes, the tires have got your back and I would 100% recommend them to anyone.
I have had the Falken ZIEX ZE310's fitted for a few months now, wet grip is good and grip in the dry is brilliant. They are nowhere near as noisy as the Avon tires I had fitted previously, nor the Nankang budgets before that.
I picked the Falkens because they were offered in the aspect ratio I required, a very odd 195/40/R17 profile which not many manufaturers produce. So far I've covered nearly 10,000 miles and I have around 3-4mm left across the tire (albeit I will need to replace sooner due to my tracking being out, and the passenger side wearing unevenly)
I can highly reccomend the Falkens as a fantastic mid-range tire with good wet and dry grip, noise levels and overall comfort.

I've had these fitted to my Volvo d5185 estate car for around 10 of the past 14 months (I fit winter tires over the colder months) and they are now down to 2mm tread depth, having covered just 12,000 miles.
I always keep the pressures at 36psi and the tires have worn nice and evenly. These were bought based on their high mileage claim, to say I'm disappointed is stating the obvious ! They gripped very well in both the wet and dry when new, but this performance has deteriorated slightly but noticeably over time. I consider these a mid priced range tire, though based on the low mileage they have covered I would have been just as happy with the equally well performing Chinese 3A P606 tires I had fitted previously, though there is a £50 price difference for a set of 4 tires. I will try a premium brand such as Dunlop or Goodyear next to see if they provide better mileage.
While a pair of them were fitted in the front, the steering response was very retarded during urgent manouvres. Then they were moved to the back (along with Bridgestones T005 in front) and while side holding is good, wet performance is terrible-they lost the grip on several occassions with no sign, while T005 were still gripping or signalling grip limit of this FWD car.
I bought these tires because I wanted good tires at a good price. I felt Michelin was a bit too expensive, but I was not after a cheap budget tire since my previous experiences with Minerva F109 - they ended their life a bit too early. Falken has got good reviews in magazines and they have good prices, so I thought I give them a try.
Very good tires. My car was fitted from factory with Michelin Energy Saver. The Falkens feels quite similar to them. Low noise, very stable tires, good grip in dry and wet, good resistance to aquaplaning. I feel that I have good control. The tires are also comfortable, they soaks up bumps and imperfections well without feeling squishy or soft. Cars feels secure, and it holds the track very well.
Since the tires are new, I've only driven them this summer, I can't really comment on the wear.
But I've driven them in sun and in heavy rain, hot and medium temperature, country roads and highways. I like them a lot, my car feels like it's brand new again (well, almost :) ). A very pleasing experience driving with these tires on.
I've seen some magazine reviews complaining about high rolling resistance. But I would say that in real world driving this is not really a big issue.
The 10-year-old Michelin Energy Saver was replaced. With the new Falken ZIEX ZE310 Ecorun tires after 5000 km I am satisfied. It adheres very well and does not slip when suddenly braking. It is safe on the water as well, nothing aquaplaning, you can safely go in high rain. I don't feel loud.
Bought these to replace Michelin primacy 3 on my 3008 mk2. I am more than happy with these tires and they perform just as well as the primacy 3. I also really like the sidewall design which makes keeping them looking black is a lot easier.
These are some excellent tires for the price. They grip in the dry like they're made out of glue. And they're pretty quiet too. The only slight negative, the sidewalls are not the stiffest, and depending on the aspect ratio (weather it's for example 205/45 or 55 or 65), how aggressively you drive and how wide/narrow your rims are compared to the tires, you risk rolling on the sidewall slightly. Slightly higher pressure helps though. But if you don't drive too aggressively, these tires are just superb. Grip alone is outstanding. Highly recomended for the price (i payed just over 500DKK/about 57 pounds per tire in Denmark. They cost less everywhere else.
I replaced my falken ze914 for this tire. The dry grip is good, wet grip is not good in a 170bhp tdi car. The wear rate has been ok and comfort ok. The older ze914 tire was better than the new ze310 wouldn't recommend.
These were suggested by a local company.
Fitted to an MX-5 that is used for general driving (sometimes spirited).
The MX-5 being such a light car by todays standard is a hard car to 'get right'. Even tiny inaccuracies in tires/geometry/inflation can make huge differences in the overall driving manner of the car.
4 of these ZE310's replaced:
Yoko Advans on the rear (that were downright dangerous in damp/wet with snap oversteer)
Dunlop SportResponse on the front (which were 'OK' at the best).
I am pleased to say that the car has been totally transformed by these tires.
Road noise is massively reduced, comfort is increased and grip is great in dry/damp or wet conditions.
I am still toying with small changes in pressures, but in general the car is so much more planted and much more predictable in bad weather, which is a good thing in a lightweight real wheel drive car.
All in all I am well happy....
Once the awful factory fitted front Contis had gone I used UniRoyal Rainexpert3s on the front (the used Contis on back). Those Uniroyals are unbelievably good in the wet. Far too fragile on warm dry tarmac (I live in SW France). Only lasted 15k km (3 sets). Need an extra set of summer wheels to swap them out when the sun shines!! That's my benchmark to compare against.
So I tried these Falkens. Not as ultimately grippy in the wet yet better than most others. No aquaplaning at speed or under hard braking - when relatively new. I only paid 50€ eaxh for these (plus 20€ fitting). Lovin' a necessary & sensible compromise. Recommended.
