I'm really pleased with the tire on dry and wet conditions. I had no problem with the snow this winter.
Continental WinterContact TS 860 Owner Reviews
Review this tireWhat owners say summarised from 42 reviews
Continental WinterContact TS 860 earns strong praise for wet grip, aquaplaning resistance, snow performance (especially when new), comfort/low noise, and overall safety, with many high-scoring reviews highlighting balanced handling and good wear for several seasons. A recurring minority concern is notable performance degradation after 2-4 winters, particularly on wet and packed snow/ice, and occasionally softer sidewalls affecting steering response. Overall sentiment is positive, with most drivers recommending the TS 860 for milder to typical European winters and wet conditions.

After 4 years and over 40 000 km. with TS 850 it was time to switch to the new model. The tire is again on the top of the winter tire offerings. Not a single disadvantage. Everything from dry and wet grip to wear and rolling resistance is an easy 10. Snow and ice performance are not the best but would say in top 3 in the moment. The great advantage of CWC TS 860 is that it has no major disadvantage. Perfectly balanced tire. Rolling resistance is on par with TS850 and I hope the wear would be too. Comfort is not great but on a very acceptable level.
Great tire again Continental! Would buy again.

One word - amazing. You feel extremely stable and safe on very rainy day even with medium-high speeds (~140-150). I will buy it again 100%.
