Aptany RA301 225-45-17- Volvo D4 Inscription 17,000 miles February 23, 2025
I've had these 19 months on the front, 187 bhp Volvo D4. Both are virtually bald. I do about 10k a year, so that's about 17k I've done in them. I've never known tires wear so fast. On the rear I have a pair of Michelin summer tires that still look like new with deep treads, despite being 36 months old. I don't do that many wheelspins and emergency stops. Turning off roundabouts and putting my footdown usually feels quite unsafe with side slides. Never again trusting this brand, not worth the hassle, despite being so cheap.

Aptany RA301 225-45-17- Skoda Octavia vRS 600 miles November 10, 2024
Dealership slapped these bargain basement boots on my Octavia just before I bought it so it would get through an MOT. My initial thought was I'd keep them on until I wore them out but turns out I'll probably meet my end before that so I'll likely swap them out for set of Eagle F1s or similar to deny the reaper for a little longer. They were... Passable in the dry, car felt like it handled poorly but not in an unsafe way. The wet was a different story, the braking distance was suddenly measured in light-years and the car struggled to both find and keep traction while cornering and in in-gear acceleration (from some moderate but not excessive driving). It felt like my tires had been replaced by some devious little gremlins with 4 circular blocks of ice.
In reality, these tires are probably fine if fitted to a small city car or underpowered hatchback with a driver who is allergic to lateral acceleration. However, I'd make sure you are a beneficiary on their life insurance policy just in the event of a wet emergency stop or alternatively they live in the middle of the Sahara desert or the center of death valley.

Aptany RA301 225-50-17- Ford Focus 5,000 miles August 28, 2024
Had one fitted on my front left & it’s terrible. Hardly any grip when making sharp turns in the wet the car actually moves across instead of turning. Only reason I got it was because I had puncture with my davanti and the 247 call out company only had these ones to replace mine.

Do not buy these tires.
Absolute rubbish, only lasted 20000km
And never felt so scared driving in the wet, absolutely no grip and no stirring feeling. Spend a bit more for your safety .

With only 7k km the front driver tire is kind of vibrating, could notice last time went to balance the Wheels. Im gonna try the 5 year warranty but Lost a Lot of confidence on them. Maybe because my car is Very heavy on the front: v8 4.5 twin turbo

Aptany RA301 225-45-17- BMW 8,000 miles February 19, 2021
Had them on the front of my 5 series BMW for two years. Cant understand the guy who says he has got under 2000 miles from them! Must be driving like a lunatic. Mine have been excellent, even in snow! Rear wheel drive of course, but the beemer isn't a lightweight. Good cornering grip, good in the rain and quiet. Have to change unfortunately, due to a screw in the tread, near a sidewall, otherwise I think they are good for thousands of miles yet. More than 4.5mm of tread left. Can't find any locally so will try another brand. Pity.
