These tires are positively lethal in the wet. My Ford Focus Coupe Cabriolet has absolutely no grip in the wet with the tires losing grip at low speed and the car changing lanes in roundabouts. Avoid these tires at all cost. I even went back to the tire supplier to double check that they were installed in the correct direction. I cannot believe these can be sold in Australia.
I have 4 of these on my TT, they were brand new when I bought it 7 months ago. They are 245/35/19. And now need replacing. I am not a fan of budget tires and these are bordeline unsafe. Firstly wear; tread wear they has worn too badly, however that is not the problem with these tires. They have cracked along almost every tread groove and they tire edges are perished and cracked. Dry Grip; my TT is tge fwd 197bhp, frankly these tires would struggle with half that power and despite initially gripping quickly loose traction under moderate acceleration. Wet Grip; This is where these tires fall down and in my opinion should not be used by anyone expcting to do more than a gentle trip to the shops when in rains. They hold the road when cornering and steady braking is just about acceptable, but any hint of an acceleration in the wet and they will quickly break traction. The term ditch finders is perhaps a bit harsh but considering the fashion in which these tires wear it wouldnt be long until a structural tire wall failure occurred.check out the images online for proof. If you buy these for a third of the price of a branded tire expect to replace them very quickly and dont expect anything more than a disapointing experience.Onee last thing, they offer no rim protection either which sucks and will inevitably end up in a kerbed alloy or two which a branded tire would prevent.

I had these on the back of a type r that I track day'd recently. I initially thought "Oh oh", gonna have to watch these, but they were suprisingly good for a cheepo tire. I used tham in the dry at Castle Combe, and did 140 flat out track miles on std suspension. They 'smeared' over nicely on the back, and were fun to drive on.
I've yet to try them on the front, but I would deffo buy some of these over other brands.

Bought these on a whim as it was readily available at the garage and initially thought these were sound. They were ever so slightly quieter than the OE Bridgestones but when it comes to grip these reach their limit very quickly. The ATR Sports do not instill confidence in driving and are probably suitable for motorway use.
Wet grip is better than the Nankang NS-2 but would avoid and go up several standards for not that much more money. Will only buy ATR Sports again if I was desperate for ASAP tires which 'does the job'. Lasts surprisingly well though.
I purchased a complete set to a new set of Ford RS 18" Alloys which were fitted to a 2012 Ford Transit Connect for just £240 including new valves.
I was amazed!
They are a lot quieter than the other tires,which,okay, were of less tread.
The road holding is superb, the XL walls giving the strength.
Why pay double?
Done 5,000 miles so far.....and showing very little if any wear.
If buying in Mid Wales...or Shropshire borders....give ASH TYRES in Wrexham a ring who will look after you properly...or.......look them up on Ebay for the best prices in the UK
Despite the high rating on thread-wear, there was no difference from the other tire, I have used before this (NCT5, Ventus V12, N9000). Uneven wear on the sides vs the center thread, despite rotation every 10,000km.
Good grip on dry, but only at the right temperature. So it requires some "heating" up first.
Wet grip also good, when it was new... But did not outperform the Ventus V12.
Going hard on corners, still will feel it slip and slide a little BUT still under control.
I had a newish pair of these tires on the backk of an S4 quattro when I bought it. Awful tires! In the dry would slide far to easily, in the wet borderline dangerous. Luckily the quattro is a fine handling car and I suppose they broke away quite smoothly. The front was shod with barely legel Falken 452's worn right to the markers that still outgripped the nearly new achilles in the wet and dry.....
