These tires are truely spectacular! the wet grip is unbeatable and it really takes some to upset these even on full lock and acceleration!
The dry grip is stunning as I generated a constant of 0.94G! (Ford Focus Mk1)
Confidence is assured as progressiveness is smooth and predictable.
Feel is slightly less than previous tires but this is due to relitively soft compound and deep tread.
turn in is sharp and bite is instant.
I do not have ESP or ABS but I drive somewhat aggressively and they have never let go! The rear end is now twitchy (fronts' only) as the car tends to allow for controlable lift-off oversteer
The car has never understeered (only on off-camber roads)
MAKE SURE TO BUY XL VERSION!

Just relpaced all four tires, replacing Pirelli P6000's(which were poor). Very impressed with the Rainsport 2. Good feedback with low rolling noise. Having read some reviews I was concerned about the flexibility of the tire walls; however under acceleration and cornering forces the tires perform well, giving good feedback in both dry and wet cnditions. Cannot comment on the wear yet, although if similar to previous Uniroyals, they should be good. A very good tire, that looks good too and would recommend.

This tire is very grippy and thats the problem, The steering is very direct if not a little too direct. turning the wheel a little has nearly caught me out a couple of times. There is no sign you are going to lose grip another problem if you are driving an Impreza because it has so much grip anyway if it goes it really goes and is almost impossible to get back. Would get Continental Sport Contact or Contact 3 next .

Absolutely awesome in the wet. The grip levels under braking into wet roundabouts was great - from NSL speeds downhills, no interference from the ABS due to such good grip.
Dry grip was great too.
The only thing with these tires is that they have very soft sidewalls. I changed the set due to removing a chunk by kerbing them.

Best performance on wet roads. Good handling while taking corners in rain.

Used a number of different tires but decided to give the Rainsport 2 a try after reading reviews. The grip in the wet is phenomenal and very impressive in the dry. Impreza's have a reputation for understeering under heavy load but with these tires the understeer was eliminated to give very precise cornering even at high speed. Feedback was excellent and the grip never seemed to let go. Braking performance in the wet was excellent. The ability to shift water from the tread, and aquaplaning resistence is superb as I found out on a dual carriageway once when a couple of cars in front started to aqualplane when they hit some deep run-off from a field while my car kept it's grip and allowed me to stop quickly without causing an accident or losing any control. Great tires, and highly recommended.

These tires went on my front wheels to replace the factory fit continentals.
The wet grip is far better than the originals but otherwise I noticed little difference. I'm not a tire nut, but I've not scarred myself by losing grip with these round corners!
The only thing that I was disappointed about was that they lasted only 18000. I've been used to getting more like 25000 per set (the continentals had gone a little more than that - and I'm only now replacing the original rear tires at 45000!)
However, given that I can get 4 at 373 pounds (fitted), they might wear out about 20% faster but they are also about 20% cheaper than the continentals and they perform more to my liking!

These replaced the famed Michelin Primacy from which I managed to get 25K miles and thought they were a fantastic tire. After reading reviews here I changed to Uniroyals because I wanted more ride comfort. These tires are a revelation. Better all round and amazing comfort over potholed roads, compared to the Michelins. The car feels more solid and controlled, does not drift on fast sweeping bends and has a much more responsive turn-in; in addition to a more comfortable ride. Would highly recommend.

Bought to replace Continental Contactsport as fitted from new.
The Uniroyals are a 100% improvemnet. They are much quieter, more comfortable, and the steering has been transformed, no more tramlining and I feel as if I'm back in control.
Don't know about wear yet, but am delighted thus far(or as delighted as one could be with the dreaded low profile tires!)

Great set of tires! Been through many brands, these being far the best! Falkens were rubbish, needed changing every 6 months, not good grip at all!!!
Goodyear Eagle f1's were decent, but tracking wa out and tires had to be replaced!
Toyo Proxes were the best on my MK3 16v GTI, until i got my hands on these! which are amazing for the price! Try them out, you wont be disappointed!

These tires were fantastic in the wet and snow! never doubted them for a minute. In the dry they are not bad, but i have driven on other tryes, such as Continentals which inspire more confidence to really push on through the twisty bits. having read alot of reviews i'm off to try some Yokohama C drive, no doubt they will be worn out by the winter, so can then pick another wet weather tire!
