Performance Analysis

Nokian SeasonProof - Official Image

The Nokian SeasonProof consistently excels in winter-oriented metrics and comfort while lagging notably in wet and dry performance. Across eight tests it repeatedly tops snow categories (often 1st place for snow braking/handling) and posts class-leading external noise and competitive rolling resistance. However, it is frequently bottom-tier in wet braking and handling, and often below average in dry braking/handling, which depresses its average overall position (8.5).
Overall, SeasonProof suits drivers prioritizing strong winter safety and quietness, but it trails the class leaders on rain-soaked and warm roads. Value and wear show decent-to-good results in some tests, but its consistent wet shortfall is a clear systemic weakness.
