Top 3 Nexen Winguard Sport 2 SUV Reviews

Given 83% while driving a Skoda Koadiaq RS (235/55 R18) on a combination of roads for 2,500 spirited miles
Bought these tires to replace my Pirelli Scorpion Winters which had worn down to 3mm in abt 28k kilometres. The Nexens have really impressed me. Driving in a spirited manner in the mountains, these inspire a lot of confidence. Great handling on wet, icy roads and the braking as well is really good in the wet. Ice and slush were the Pirelli's weak points but the Nexens are faring much better no matter what the surface - dry, wet, snow, ice . Even in the wet, turning the traction control off, there's only a slight oversteer, there's just oodles of grip. Cant say much about the wear as its been only 2500 kms. But from enthusiast's point of view, the tire ticks all boxes.

Given 77% while driving a BMW X5 3.0d Sport (255/50 R19 V) on a combination of roads for 5,000 easy going miles
I have BMW X5 with R19 255/50 switched to Nexen Winguard Sport 2 s from Lassa Competus winter 2, the main difference are : Nexen is more comfortable and quieter, and the grip on snow/ice is better, but handling feel is more 'cheesee', i live in Latvia, so we have proper winter , average temp is minus -7c, -12c and in colder temps tires feels batter than in warm temperatures because they is quite soft . For the price the grip is geat but do not expect them to be sporty. Could recommends this tires ? Yes but only in winter, not all season tires. Downsides of both Nexen and Lassa is weight, little bit on heavy side.

Given 92% while driving a Kia Motors Sportage (225/45 R17) on mostly country roads for 5,000 average miles
I needed a full set of winter tires and after some internet search, I chose these tires. After more than 5000 miles driven through dry, wet, snow and icy conditions I'm happy to say that I made the right choice, buying NEXEN. I had the opportunity to drive through 5 inches of fresh snow which later became ice and was surprised to have the full control of the steering all time, sometimes the car safety systems helped but nothing critical or scary. Definitely would purchase again this brand.

Given 71% while driving a Renault Modus 1.5Dci Authentique (215/60 R16) on mostly town for 37 average miles
I had a set of these tires for my previous Renault Megane III. They were great for the first two years on snowy roads. But their performance started to decline on snow and ice year by year. We have used them for seven years even at summer times for about 60.000kms and still they had over 3 mm tire depth. They were fine on dry and wet surfaces, I had no issue. They are definetly price/performance tires. They are bit soft at cornering and high speed maneuvering and you don't feel confident with them at the high speed. But it does not bother me because I don't like speeding at winter times. Now I will buy a set for my Landrover Discovery 3. But honestly I will not prefer them for my Mercedes C200 4matic (Continental is my favourite).
