Performance Analysis
Drawn from 2 tests. Updated October 28, 2026.
The Marshal MU12 finished near the bottom in both Auto Bild summer braking comparisons, with the larger shortfall on wet roads. In the 2026 52-tire braking test it was 46th of 50 overall. Dry braking was 43rd of 50 at 38.6 m, 17.7% longer than the best, and wet braking was 46th at 35.4 m, a 40.5% gap.
The 2020 Tire Market Overview Braking Test showed the same broad pattern: 43rd of 50 overall, with dry braking 37th of 49, 14% from the best, and wet braking 43rd of 49, 30.3% behind. The tests used different sizes, so their absolute distances do not establish a direct change over time. They consistently show below-average dry stopping and a larger wet-braking deficit. No handling, wear, comfort or noise results establish a compensating strength.
