I've had Bridgestone, Pirrelli, Goodyear and other top brands and none were a patch on these Jinyu YU63's. They have now saved my life twice. The first when a low loader went into the central reservation in front of me and I managed to brake and swerve to avoid. The second when I went round a bend and met a polish HGV head on and stopped before we hit, 56-0 in under 2 seconds on a damp road. If you find that hard to believe watch retrans poland on youtube. I wont have any other tire fitted now. Bet my life on these tires and won. They last much longer than other brands and I get excellent fuel economy. Cannot rate highly enough.

Front axle Ford Focus. Done 10k miles and has about 5mm tread left. Good in all conditions.

Moving from Toyo Proxes T1 Sport to Jinyu YU63 as a trial since these Jinyu's are way cheaper and recommended by my local tire fitter. Did my research online and decided YU63 is the way to go rather than the YU61. On paper, they are comparable to Toyo Proxes T1 sport in terms of wet grip/fuel eff/noise. My Toyo are close to its legal limit 1.9mm ish left hence it's about time for new set of rubber. People keep recommending Michelin MPSS, saying the are the best for 350z, however they are around £170 ish each fitted and balanced. These Jinyu are £140 fitted/balanced for both rears hence I decided to take the gamble and give it a try. First 2-3 miles is slightly slippery on dry compared to the previous Toyo. After 5 miles or so, they seems to have bedded in ?? As I'm getting more grip and driving confidence grows. Once I'm comfortable with tires, i start to push a little harder and they are much better compared to the previous Toyo. However I put that down to Toyo are pretty much worn out while these are brand new. In wet, again i found these to be gripper than Toyo but might be down to tire thread old vs new. Overall, for the price paid, i think these Jinyu are value for money. MPSS might be better and I can push a lot harder, but I just can't justify the price tag as I don't track my car. My gamble paid off in this occasion and they are definitely not ditch finder.....

For a budget tire these are very good.fitted these on a flat 500. 205/40×17".Road holding in wet and dry comparable to previous pirellis. Excellent price being £190 a set of 4 fully fitted.i cant comment on the wear as only done 1000 miles so far.noise wise possible better than previous top brand tires . comfort and ride is what you expect from a 40 series low profile tires.

No grip in the wet, noisy and the salesman was not helpful at all. No warranty available. Will not buy this brand for my family car again.

Just had 4 x jinyu tires fitted to my Audi q7. After reading the reviews I thought I would try them. Previously had general grabbers fitted and the difference now its like a new car. The tires are so smooth and silent. The q7 is quattro so sticks to the road like glue anyway. I have tested in the wet and the tires grip like glue. Only just had fitted so I carnt comment on wear but fitted they cost me £307.99 by tires on the drive compared to a set of continental tires costing £1000 these are an absolute no brainer. Highly recommended the brand

For those who say this tire is bad, depends on the pressure used or if you know how to dry (maybe on corner you like to brake hard hahaha)

no seriously,this tire is excellent got on bmw 6 series ,and 245/40-19 Jinyu YU63 Runflat tire front and rear 275/35-19 Jinyu YU63 Run Flat

There are grippy ,didnt see any difference on Michelin zp tire.

Highly recommand ,great tire,excellent dry and wet grip,and last longer.

Never thought Jinyu Brand will be same as my michelin ZP.

i recommand my collegues which are fans and owned BMW ,they all satisfied with that tire.

GREAT TYRE

WARNING these tires are made in China. That means they are going to be the worst tire you can buy. I can't believe that they are a Y rated tire because they feel like there gonna explode off the wheels. May have grip but structure of the tire is that bad you might as well glue kids toy dolls all the way round the wheel would be just as good. Choose life not jinyu.

having driven on a number of tires on the very same car and being a mechanical engineer thats a petrolhead I believe I would be a perfect candidate to make a good comparison.


so far I have used, Goodyear EGP, Michelin Primacy 3, Falken ZX914, Pirelli Verde P1 all on 205/55/16 size to add comfort compared to the original 195/55/16 the car comes with.

as for the Jinyu's, well I'am using them on the 1 size up 17 rims with oversized 205/50/17 (almost the same as 205/55/16) tires.


my comments so far would be:

pros:

1) great handling, feedback, dry is great wet is good no complaints at all
2) comfort isnt a Michelin but it sure isnt uncomfy either
3) noise wise its fairly little more noiser which to be honest all tires are on this size anyway so I would say its par with Michelin etc

4) wear wise nothing comes close to these babies, 24k kms and they are still holding on I estimate they will last upto 35k kms which is great for this size.


cons:

1) dont know the name of this trouble but these tires very often get brownish,dull looking and I havent ever used any of those solvents etc just simple water based protectors and that was maybe 3 or 4 times.

other than that cant really think of any other trouble.


price wise these are half to even 1/3rd the price of the competition with just as good if not even better results , why bother with the big boys spoiled names/prices?

Previously had bridgestones run flats on and read reviews online and thought I'd give these a try in 6 months 5000 miles no complaints great all rounder total value for money and less than half

I couldn't believe these tires when I had them fitted. The ride was so confortable and no noisier than other makes. HOWEVER, I have found them lethal in the wet when cornering even at low speeds. As soon as I touch the throtlle the back steps out, I have never experienced this before in normal driving.
It's such a shame as they give a lovely ride and so far the wear looks good.

Replaced front tires with these, still early days, less than 1000 miles done. Immediately noticeable is a softer sidewall, so not so good on limit unless pressures are slightly above recommended; tendency to tramline; definitely noisier than the Falken ZIEX 914 eco run they replace, didn't think 2 decibel would be so obvious. Wet driving is tentative too say the least, not too sure just yet maybe need to bed in a little. But for a tire at half the cost, the overall performance isn't half as good, certainly better than that. Time will tell whether a further set will follow.
