It has been the second set of Asymmetric6 that I have been using and I think there will even be a 3rd one, as I am about to change tires soon. The first set (225/45/17) was on my previous car, a Leon 2.0 FR (1P, 200HP) and the second one (225/40/18) on my current Ibiza 1.5 FR (180HP with program).
Regarding comfort, both cars have a rather tight suspension, so any difference with other tires is little, but they are surely better than some Pirelli Zero Rosso that the Leon had come with and rather slightly better than the previous model (Asymmetric3) I had put on after the Pirellis.
Wear: I have always changed tires at around 3 years or 35000km. With the F1Asym6 I feel I am "cheating" myself in that I could probably give myself at least another 6 months and at least another 5000km.
After an initial "acquaintance" period, when one is getting used to the tires, the outcome will always feel better. I am not a race driver so it took me a while to find out that the tires outperformed my expectations and my limits.
Grip on tight corners is very reassuring while staying on the throttle, and even unexpected lifting the foot off or braking in the corner does not easily bring imbalance to the car. The tires offer excellent grip also on wide bends, on both dry and wet and may even make you want to accelerate in the bend.
The 17 inch set were really very progressive and you could tell when the car was about to skid and it was a joy to control and play with the car. The 18 inch is still quite progressive but maybe slightly less. But as the road holding margins feel wider it may take a little more focus on doing the same.
In wet braking, the ABS will rarely interfere, unless it is a first rain after a long dry (and there is a lot of road dirt gathered).
Certainly a must check out tire before any purchase.
Coming to these from Hankook VP 2 has completely transformed a car. Feels as if car was put on coilovers. When tackling a roundabout or corners at high speed tires dont move sideways at all as if sidewalls were made out of steel. Driving in heavy rain feels like driving on dry - no difference in tire behavior. The only issue is that it could be quieter,but thats no biggy. Wanted to try these for a long time and have to say I am very impressed. But it needs a better looking sidewalls - probably the worst looking tire from all premiums. Probably will buy again if they will last at least 12000km.
These are on Peugeot 508 which is family saloon and can easily keep up with hot hatches in a corners with these tires on.

Replaced factory Michelin Primacy 3, which lasted until 50000kms until a big puncture, so expected a lot of improvement in all areas. Had experience with Continentals (worst wear ever on a tire) Assymmetric 2s (fantastic tire) and Michelin PS4s (good traction but cupped badly. Assy 6 transformed my car, grip levels increased so much that it feels almost as a S tire. Noise eliminated compared to worn out primacy and still is quiet after 55000 kms. Sidewalls not rock hard but still a lot of information on the steering wheel. It starts to squeak a little before grip fallout so feels progressive. After 2 rotations and 55000 have only a bit of tread left, so wet grip is accordingly lower than new. Defo would buy again, unless Goodyear brings a new model.

Decided to buy these tires as they are good quality and some people said that they are comfortable, however maybe they drive them only on perfect roads. Here in the Balkans the roads are terrible, and to my sorrow, these tires are extremely hard, you feel every tiny bump on the road. They are made for fast driving on good roads or tracks (as the UHP name suggests).
Only done a few hundred miles on these (can’t comment on wear) but so far really impressed. Mix of average and smooth/spirited driving.
Ideal mix of firmness/compliance. For a family car anyway. They replaced runflats and I was worried they might be over-squishy, but they just aren’t. They’ve transformed the car and it feels both smoother and more sure-footed at the same time, with more predictable behavior under load.
Not too noisy, and seem decent for rolling resistance.
Plenty of grip in the dry, but the wet traction and stability really is remarkable – including in some pretty deep standing water. Probably the best tires I’ve experienced for wet grip if not on the same car. You don’t have to be throwing it around to tell the grip is just ‘there’, which gives a lot of confidence – including braking. A world of difference to a couple of hire cars I’ve had lately with (branded) eco tires that just felt horribly aloof and skittish in the wet.
For ref I’ve got the 91 load (as recommended) -not 94/XL.
I have been using Goodyear Asymmetric in my all cars. Starting from A3 and A6 lately. My front A5 which I bought 4 years ago still has half of its life left when A6 fitted on the rear lasted only 14000 miles!
I made a mistake regarding these tires. I used to think they are overhyped because i could not see its qualities. It is quiet, comfortable - surprisingly for this kind of tire. Braking performance outstanding, confidence inspiring, wet and dry. Handling - I used to think it is not good but that was before i drove like it was supposed to. In the right conditions, meaning - summer time, when the asphalt is hot, it handles and grips like nothing else (my tire experience is limited but i've tried a few different compounds), very predictable and safe, sporty to the right amount. It also heats up not too quick not to slow, and it doesn't overheat. Grip is perfect dry and wet. Wear was at first not good or i thought it was, but with proper tire rotation you could get at least 50 000km from a set. The selling point of this is comfort and it is a great selling point, it absorbs the deep bumps great, the little imperfections though - could be better.
Less expensive than the pilot sports and a better tire - buy it.
Not a good looking tire, but is very grippy in the dry and good enough in the wet. It is also very quiet and comfortable. It isn't a massive step over the Kuhmo Ecsta PS71's that I had previously, but these are a good tire. Also has some rim protection. But please Goodyear, male a better sidewall!!!
Soo, i have the tire for 2000km and so far i am very impresed with grip in wet and dry, before it warms up is bad but after the rubber becomes sticky and unstopable (i always smell burning rubber when i park my car), but the tires have a problem, outer sides are almost gone after 2000km and i eat tham down to the name of the tire, sidewalls are to soft (this are not XL) you can see it on the picture after the first day of use the tire had used marks just above the writing "EAGLE F1" and dont tell me i dont put enaugh pressure in becaus i put more than recomended, and the feedback and dynamic feel compared to Yokohoma Advant Fleva v701 is nonexistant until the tires are pushed well than in that area thay provide good feedback and overall operation, comfort is way better tham Yokohamas, also corner grip is way ahead Of Yokohama tires i used before, one more BIG p
PROBLEM in temperatures between 0-25°c thay work good, but after outside temps reach 30-35°c+ the tire become like a chewing gum and its terible, i enjoy tham alot more on the wet than dry
