Given 79% while driving a Opel Calibra V6 (215/45 R17 W) on a combination of roads for 3,500 average miles
I used to have the Eagle F1 Asymmetric 2 tires before these, but those were down to about 2mm and I sadly got some damage on the sidewall of one of the tires. So when I heard there was a version 3 out from the Asymmetric tires, I almost blindly chose those. This because my experience with the Asymmetric 2 tires was fantastic; very good dry grip, excellent wet grip, very good steering feel and decent comfort. When I saw that the version 3's were even a bit cheaper, I went for it.

Now, after a few thousand kilometers, I kind of regret that decision. Not that these are bad tires, not in the slightest, but the Asymmetric 2's were just better and more to my liking.

Starting off on a positive note though, the comfort on these tires has become quite a bit better. Bumps and potholes in the road are less noticeable and they seem to be ever so slightly quieter. The wear, for the short bit that I've used them, seems fine. Wet grip is also still very good, only slightly behind or on par with the version 2's.
Dry grip seems to be a bit worse, I seem to get wheelspin quicker with these when for example driving off at at roundabout that is slightly uphill. This I never had on the previous tires.

The most noticeable difference however is the feedback. I assume that with the tires being more comfortable, the steering feel has gone downhill and it's much harder to predict where the limit is during cornering. The Asymmetric 2's were outstanding in that regard, you could feel everything going on through the steering wheel and you would know exactly where the limitations of grip were. I really miss that with these tires.

In conclusion: if you have already ordered these tires, no worries, they are pretty good. But if you're still browsing, get the Goodyear Eagle F1 Asymmetric 2 tires; slightly "harder" and less comfortable, but more grip and much more feedback.

A good all round tire in this size. They are a bit noisy on the motorway however. Good in the wet but then so too was the Asymmetric 2. The rim guard is a very definite step backwards over those on the Asymmetric 2 tires I had beforehand. Never scraped a wheel with the Asymmetric 2s but I have with the 3s. I might try Michelin Sport 4s next time.

Opel (235/50 R18 V) on mostly town for 10,000 average miles
I got set of Goodyear Eagle F1 tires fitted as I had the same brand of tire on the car for the past year and I commute in each day to and from work in rain, dry and chilly weather. The tires lasted very well and performed excellently giving great feedback while driving with them. The car originally had Continental tires but I went for the Goodyear tires after having a set of Pirelli tires for a year. The Goodyear tires are by far the best tire to drive on and that is why I went for the same tire again.

I previously had the asymmetric 2's whilst my car runs about 280bhp and 450nm of torque and i hardly ever got any wheel spin with them. On the other hand with asymmetric 3's i get a lot more wheel spin so i would definitely not buy them again and I'd stick to tglhe previous ones..

I've always bought budget or mid range tires but decided to treat myself with these and I'm very impressed. They grip like glue, corner great and I feel a new found confidence while I drive. The tires are the only contact with the ground and I'm surprised when we the public always try to cut corners with them and base our choice on cost. Even if the stopping distances are only marginally better surely this is a great reason to go for proven quality tires. In the case of these, its much better. Our our lives worth the cost of a cheap tire?

I´ve had the Asymmetric 2 and been very pleased, with comfort, wear, and performance. Thats why I chose the As.3

Looks: The Asymmetric 3 has a smaller rimprotector compared to the As. 2, but still ok.
Performance: I have only driven approx. 2000 km, but so far they feel great - quite similar to the As.2 (even though I know they have improved the wet and dry performance)
Wear: No visable wear at all after 2000 km, and If they are as good as the As.2 - they will last a long time!

Given 98% while driving a BMW 535d msport touring (245/35 R19) on a combination of roads for 2,000 spirited miles
