The Goodride SA37 has repeatedly struggled with wet handling, steering response and stability. It finished 18th of 20 in the 2020 Auto Zeitung Summer Tire Test, with wet handling 17th and 10.1% slower than the best. Wet braking was 13th, 13.4% longer than the shortest stop, and dry braking 14th, 7.4% behind the best. Auto Zeitung criticised slow steering and dry understeer. Test World placed it 13th of 15 in 2015, describing difficult wet handling, slow dry steering and rear grip loss in emergency maneuvers, although braking was acceptable and noise low.
The 2022 Tire Reviews UUHP test needs qualification because it used a mixed Goodride and Star Performer combination. That setup finished ninth of ten and was Not Recommended for unbalanced, unpredictable handling; it cannot establish the behavior of a complete matching set. Aquaplaning resistance placed fourth in both disciplines, while rolling resistance led the field. That efficiency result is unusual against 19th of 20 for rolling resistance in Auto Zeitung 2020 and Test World's high-resistance criticism in 2015, and the mixed setup limits direct comparison. The older matching-model tests already establish the main concerns, independently of that later combination.

The Goodride SA37 is very unstable and are difficult to drive on a wet surface. In an emergency, the rear tires lose grip too easily. In the dry the tires are too slow in response to steering and the rear wheels again can easily go into a skid. Noise level is low, but the tires are relatively rigid. Also a high rolling resistance.
