Road noise and weak wet grip dominate owner criticism of the Fullrun HP199, with 59 of 79 reviews negative. Noise is criticised in roughly four in ten reviews and wet grip in around one third, including accounts of wheelspin and sliding on wet bends. Dry grip is divided rather than a clear strength, and a smaller group finds the ride harsh. Tread life is the main positive, supported by several longer-use accounts, although some drivers replace the tire with tread remaining because of noise or grip concerns. Most repeat reviewers remain dissatisfied, while one remains positive across several accounts, so there is no uniform ageing pattern. Reports of noise increasing with use are individual experiences rather than a fixed mileage trend.

A truly dreadful tire with very poor wet weather performance. My car came with these, fitted by the previous owner for whom "a tire is a tire": wrong.
Fitted to a torquey car, these had negligible wet grip and couldn't put any power down at all: junctions became a nightmare and cornering grip was dreadful. They would even lose traction accelerating at 60mph in the wet. I am no boy racer, driving a Volvo V70 D5 but these tires are borderline dangerous regardless of how light-footed you are.
I am not of the 'must buy premium' persuasion and regularly use Hankook and Barum tires - these are a different matter. Regardless of price, no sane person would compromise safety to the extent that these 'black circles of death' ask you to.
At the risk of repeating, I am not heavy footed or a boy racer and I 'drive to the conditions': these tires are however, bordering on dangerous. You have been warned.
Put these tires on custom rims for my 2011 Chevrolet Avalanche and they vibrated so bad right away (out of round) that I had to go back and repurchase new Toyo Porxies to fix the vibration. What a piece of "JUNK" those Fullrun tires are never buy these or you will regret it.
Check out how the BEST all seasons tires perform against premium summer and winter tires!
Had these tires for approaching six months, through the summer. Handling in the dry is the worst I've experienced on budget tires, and now the rain is setting in I fear for the wellbeing of myself and my car.
The road noise is hilarious too, sounds a lot like a jet taking off as you progress from 20mph upward.
On the plus side they were crazy cheap, and they seem to be wearing fairly well (I suspect as they're made from something much harder and less grippy than rubber).
Unfortunately these dreadful tires were fitted on the car when I bought it 2 months ago. The road noise from these tires is unbelievable, so much so that I booked my car into a garage as I thought the wheel bearing were worn. The mechanic checked over the car and told me the noise was from the tires and although I still had 6mm of thread on all tires I should replace them asap. It's quiet scary knowing that a deadly product like this is approved and sold as legal. Cut your losses, get rid. I think you simply get what you pay for so do not skimp when it comes to tires or brakes.
Road worthey deathtraps!!!
If you want a tire that spends more time spinning in the wet then moving the car, these are the tires for you.

Do not buy. You will kill yourself. Got a flat tire could not be repaired and the tire bay didn't say any thing to me about the make of tire that was being but on paid top money for the tire £85. Drove 200 yards to a round about (it was wet) the car was all over the place thought I had another flat drove straight back to the tire bay. Found nothing wrong and was told the tire would bed in, do I look that stupid. Took the car carefully to a well known tire company and had it changed. THIS TYRE SHOULD NOT BE SOLD TO ANYONE.
A serious risk to safety of yourself and all those around you. Noise is so bad that they drown out the sound of damaged wheel bearing. Potholes feel like small cliffs. Painting the edges of your rims black and leaving them off will do you a favor.
I had 4 of these terrible tires on my 2002 Audi S3. It wasn't my choice - previous owner of the car bought them. There's absolutely nothing good about them except the low price. I say more: they are dangerous and should be banned from European market. Instability is their main feature and this applies to any condition. Comfort? I think the producer doesn't know what it is. Noise and vibration even at 20mph, the faster the worse. Rolling resistance is also high, which results in increased fuel consumption. Durability poor as well: shitty quality of the rubber means rapid aging, so even if you drive gently, the tire will look old after just 2 years. Luckily, I hadn't any breakdown because of them but I needed to be very cautious and patient. Don't buy them - they are not worth a penny.
had these on my civic and it was fish tailing all over the place, these made the car sound like the bearings were gone. eventually got into a car accident and wrapped the car around a lamp post and and ended up in hospital. buy if u wana die.
I've just bought a second hand Volvo C70 shod with these tires. I hadn't checked the make when I did the deal and, to be fair, it probably wouldn't have made a difference. Having now driven the vehicle on various different road surfaces my initial belief was that the horrendous noise was what I should expect from my first experience of such a low profile tire. Your reviews, however, make it abundantly clear that Fullrun tires have a big problem with design and manufacture. I think it's fair to say that they definitely score high of wear, but I'm afraid I have no intention of keeping them long enough to become an expert on their grip credentials! I've decided to swap for a set of Falken 225 40 18s ZE914s and will report back in due course. So I'm hoping that your Fullrun reviewer who made uncomplementary remarks about 'Asian' tires is wrong; I've used both Falken, Hankook and Bridgestone tires in the past and been very happy.
