Performance Analysis
Drawn from 1 tests. Updated October 28, 2026.
The Falken Wildpeak AT Trail traded dry and wet road performance for snow ability and ride comfort in Tire Reviews' 2023 comparison with the Goodyear Eagle F1 Asymmetric 5 M+S and Falken Azenis FK460 AS. This three-tire test assigned no overall ranking. On snow, it stopped in 13.1 m, completed the traction test in 21.6 s and lapped in 82.5 s, with the testers highlighting its performance in all three disciplines. Subjective comfort was rated at 100 points, making ride quality another clear positive in this particular comparison.
The road results were weaker. Dry braking took 41 m, 15.5% farther than the shortest stop, while wet braking took 52.6 m, a 20.1% gap. The dry handling lap was 3.8% slower than the quickest and the wet lap 6% slower. The testers described it as the noisiest of the three, with 95 points for subjective noise, and rolling resistance was 12.9% above the lowest. This single comparison gives a clear account of the compromise against these road-focused alternatives, but it does not establish how the tire compares with a broader all-terrain field or how it performs off road.
