Given 63% while driving a Audi A4 (205/60 R15 V) on a combination of roads for 15,000 easy going miles
I was happy to pay a bit more than usual to get the Continentals after reading some reviews saying the wet weather grip was good, however,I have been a bit dissappointed with them. I stay in Scotland where there's plenty of rain,so wet weather grip is vital.
My car is front wheel drive, and at roundabouts especially I can feel the front end sliding.I have lost confidence in the tires when cornering too and feel I have to nurse the car round....not very reassuring!
Yes, after 15000 miles the tread is down but the fronts still have 4/5mm left.
Will go back to Uniroyal Rallye 550s next change, a bit cheaper but more importantly a better wet weather tire.

Given 75% while driving a MG B (185/70 R14 V) on mostly country roads for 150,000 spirited miles
Having tried a variety of tires on my MG B someone suggested these continentals. Transformed the car totally, especially in the wet. The car used to understeer badly in the wed and then convert to oversteer. I always got the impression that the front wheels never gripped in the wet at all - the continentals changed that and gave me the feel back to prevent the oversteer. Good in the dry - hardly ever squealed, even when fully loaded up. The only drawback came from hitting a patch of standing water at 75 mph where the car aquaplaning really badly and spun off the dual carriageway. Not sure how much to blame the tires here..... If I had another MG B I would continue to put these tires on it; not sure if they're suitable for my alfa spider.

Given 79% while driving a Ford Mondeo (205/55 R16 V) on a combination of roads for 34,000 spirited miles
I'm quite a fan of these tires, while they do not feature a super sticky compound they soak up bumps exceedingly well and I would go as far to say that they are the most comfortable tire I've had on my car. The sidewalls are very soft and fold under hard cornering, but Continental have not sacrificed straight line grip; instead the tread pattern is made up of a very good compound and there is plenty of straight line grip.

A comfortable but safe tire, you don't see that very often.

Given 60% while driving a Saab Automobile 9 5 2.3 Turbo SE (215/55 R16 V) on a combination of roads for 20,000 average miles
I bought these as a standard replacement tire for my heavy road car, they endowed it with a suprising amount of grip in both wet and dry conditions, they were very progressive and were much quieter than my previous michelins. Wear was higher than expected and as such would put me off buying another set, but I guess thats the price for performance, which I wasnt fussed about on this car, wear rates are more important!
