good tire for the price one of the best budget tires i had on my mk7

These tires provide very little grip in both dry and wet. I have very little confidence in them as I have slid multiple times at very low speeds. The grip in wet weather is particularly bad. So much so that my DTC light occasional blinks when moving from a standstill. That being said, they have a fairly comfortable ride and aren't too noisy.

An ok tire for road feedback, its happy to munch up the miles and gives me a good drive in dry conditions. Now any orher conditions other than hot and very dry roads these tires are simply awful. Ive covered a few thousend miles and have had enough of the very dangerous feelings when in wet or cold conditions. Ive seen shoping trollies doing less understeer than these tires fitted to my smax 2.0 tdci. I wont ever purchess again (accelera are ditch finders) overall rating an honest 5/10. 0/10 rating for wet grip. Crazy dangerous tire for english weather DO NOT BUY.

Had these in when bought the car. A Cheap tire no grip esp in wet , personal dangerous. Not the quietest tire on Road noise. Would go for a better quality tire

I had to write this review purely because of the most upvoted review here. That person admits they are bad on greasy wet roads but says simple solution. "Dont Race" that is without doubt the most ridiculous advice ive ever heard with regard to fixing a tires poor grip. So what happens if you need to swerve to avoid an animal or person or if you need to brake hard. I had these tires on my old bmw. They were on it when i bought it. As the other person said, in the dry they are a fine tire, absolutley nothing wrong with them and if you live somewhere that never sees rain then yes they are a decent option and decent value for money. I am from Ireland, where there are as many if not more wet days a year than dry. When it rains these tires are without doubt worse than anything ive ever experienced . Not bordering on dangerous they are actually lethal. How there is no standard that must be achieved for wet grip of a tire is beyond me. These are far far worse than full bald tires ive driven with on the wet. Please please dont think they will do . They wont. Pick any other tire that you are given an option of because these could cost you your life. Maybe that other person lives in a city where they never go above 50kph(30mph) i dont know and never experienced how truely dangerous these tires are. I changed them and got hankooks at the time and the car was transformed. Please please saty away from accelera phi. They are so dangerous in the wet

These were fitted all round on my C63 AMG when I bought it. Obviously the previous owner was running a sports car on a sportshoe wage. Acceptable in moderate dry road use but in the wet they became a joke. As soon as the road gets damp/wet you may as have 4 blocks of ice on your rims. Break traction at every turn and the worst was the back end breaking traction on the motorway at 70mph during an overtake in the outside lane, luckily traction was on semi otherwise I'd have lost the car at speed. If you are lucky enough to own a RWD car with 480BHP then do not scrimp on tires. Avoid

I have these on the front of a BMW 335D M Sport, fitted by a previous owner. I'm really surprised at how OK these tires are, considering they are budgets. They grip surprisingly well in the wet, no nasty surprises. Dry grip is fine. They wear very well. You can tell they're a harder compound tire through the steering, but overall they don't feel too bad. I personally wouldn't put them on the back of my car as it's running 592lb/ft of torque, so you need the best tires to put the power down, but for the fronts they're perfectly acceptable. These are probably the best budget tires I've tried.

I bought the car with these tires fitted. Not great in the dry, but shocking if it rains. They have worn really quickly. I'm off to buy much better tires. These tires are horrific, I really do not recommend them.

These tires were fitted on the front by the dealer to my car when I bought them. They are atrocious and should not be on any high performance car. When going for a spirited drive last week I could feel this pushing on very early. There was little feel through the steering either of what they were doing. The cornering limits are very low. I also noticed considerable aquaplaning on a very wet day this week.

I will be taking these off with the full thread depth still on them. Fine for driving around town. If you go over 50mph you will want something much better and safer.

A friend of mine bought some new tires and had these junk tires fitted for a whopping £65 a corner. So I thought I'd update this.

I said that they were well priced however unsafe for wet roads, eg the UK. I mentioned you can loose control at sharp B road bends at 40mph in the wet.

Some Fool with a BMW wrote a review with my review in mind, he couldn't understand how grip can be lost at 40mph. Well, I guess if he can't understand that then nobody can help him.

Anyhow, I noticed these tires were reviewed recently compared to other UHP tires and surprise, surprise. The Wet grip is atrocious and the tester had only words of condemnation for this tire.

Buy a Barum B5 or a Debica UHP Presto, they cost about the same and are far more better if your after budget tires.

Don't listen to any reviewers writing about how these tires are good on the Wet etc, they don't know what there talking about, they could review a wooden wheel and blab on about how comfortable they are.

Accelera PHI - Load of rubbish

This tire is hopeless in the wet and no grip around corners ..almost dangerous. Wouldn't buy it again.
