Cooper Tires has announced two portfolio expansions for the EMEA region on the same day: a broader winter range and a strengthened all-season range, each spanning passenger cars, SUVs and light commercial vehicles. Cooper frames both as part of its continued investment in EMEA and its new global brand identity, built around what the company describes as toughness, confidence and real-world capability. Cooper is part of the Goodyear group, and the announcements came from Goodyear's Consumer Replacement Europe North team.
The four new tires are the Cooper Winter and Cooper Winter Van in the winter range, and the Cooper All-Season and Cooper All-Season Van in the all-season range. None has been independently tested yet.
The winter range
Cooper says the broadened winter portfolio gives it 92 per cent market coverage across EMEA, with further expansion planned from 2027 onwards. The two tires split along vehicle type, one for cars and SUVs and one for vans.
Cooper Winter
![]()
The Cooper Winter is aimed at passenger cars and SUVs. According to Cooper it combines a high-silica compound with oil and resin technology to support wet and snow performance, and uses a high density of sipes to aid traction and braking in snow, with an optimised casing intended to improve efficiency without giving up winter grip. Cooper lists the range as EV-ready, with 132 sizes covering 14 to 21 inch rims.
Cooper Winter Van
The Cooper Winter Van is developed specifically for vans, with Cooper focusing on durability, mileage and control through the winter months. The company points to V-shaped grooves for wet handling, an interlocking groove network to help snow traction and a tread block strengthener for longer-lasting performance under heavy daily use. It is EV-ready and offered in 14 to 17 inch sizes across 20 SKUs.
The all-season range
Cooper says the strengthened all-season portfolio delivers 89 per cent market coverage for key European vehicles. Both all-season tires carry the 3PMSF (three-peak mountain snowflake) marking.
Cooper All-Season
![]()
The Cooper All-Season is built for passenger cars and SUVs. Cooper credits 3D blading technology for braking across the year, an enhanced footprint for even wear and longer tread life, and a robust carcass for stable handling. The range is described as EV-ready, with 84 sizes spanning 14 to 20 inch rims.
Cooper All-Season Van
The Cooper All-Season Van is the van-specific option, which Cooper positions around strength, mileage and dependability for daily commercial use. The company highlights a high number of sipes working with the cap compound for all-season braking, deep treads for longevity and a casing engineered for heavy loads. It is EV-ready and offered in 15 to 17 inch sizes across 18 SKUs.
What it means for drivers
Taken together, the two announcements fill out Cooper's EMEA winter and all-season line-ups across cars, SUVs and vans, with EV-ready construction throughout and 3PMSF marking on the all-season pair. The naming is deliberately plain, which keeps the range easy to read but tells you little about where each tire sits on performance. As with any launch, the descriptions here are Cooper's own for now - we will see how the new tires compare once independent test data is available.
