The Pirelli Scorpion Verde All Season finished fourth of six in Auto Bild Allrad's 2015 SUV test and last of ten in its 2019 test, with no award recorded. Both write-ups praised its low noise, although the measured 2019 result was only ninth of 12. Snow performance was a recurring concern: the 2015 tester noted long braking distances, while in 2019 it placed 11th of 12 for snow braking and snow traction. Rolling resistance was also criticised in 2015 and measured 11th of 12 in 2019.
Wet performance varied between tests. The 2015 tester praised wet handling and very high aquaplaning resistance, but the 2019 results contradicted that assessment: it was tenth of 12 in both wet handling and straight aquaplaning. Wet braking was particularly poor in 2019, last of 12 at 59.7 meters, 27.3% longer than the best. Dry braking was a relative exception at fourth of 12, although its 41.2-meter stop was still 17% longer than the best. The 2019 discipline fields included summer and winter benchmark tires alongside the ten all-season entries. The tester also noted wet understeer and described snow and wet grip as average.
