Performance Analysis
Drawn from 2 tests. Updated October 28, 2026.
The Michelin Latitude tour HP finished near the bottom in both of its 2017 SUV summer tests: last of 11 with ACE in 215/60 R17 and 14th of 15 with ADAC in 215/65 R16. ADAC nevertheless recorded the best wear result and low fuel consumption, identifying a useful running-cost advantage within an otherwise weak overall result.
ADAC's main criticism was wet-road performance. There are no individual measurements here to separate wet braking, handling and aquaplaning, and the ACE result has no detailed verdict. The two overall placings therefore establish a poor comparative record, while the specific strengths and wet weakness rest on ADAC's test alone. They do not support further claims about dry grip, refinement or winter ability.
