Across four summer tests, the Laufenn S fit EQ consistently trails the field, with an average overall position of 19.8 and multiple bottom-tier finishes. Wet braking is a recurring weakness, often far from the leaders, and dry braking frequently underperforms too. Some isolated mid-pack results appear in wet handling and rolling resistance, but they are not enough to offset pervasive braking deficits and a poor noise result.
Overall, the tire shows budget-grade performance: acceptable in a few dynamic or efficiency subtests, but with critical safety-related shortcomings in both wet and dry stopping distances and a last-place overall in a major ADAC SUV test.
