Best HT All Season Tires for 2026 Tested! P3 of 7

The Cooper Endeavor Plus worked its way into the top 3 not by excelling in any single area, but by just being a really solid all round tire. Good in the dry, good in the wet with very good wet braking and great aquaplaning resistance, and while it didn't really excel in the snow it also it didn't have any massive red marks against it. It was also great in the dirt and had good comfort. Recommended.

Strong: Dry Handling, Wet Braking, Curved Aquaplaning, Dirt Handling, Subj. Comfort, Noise Winner: General Grabber HT

Performance Analysis

Drawn from 1 tests. Updated October 28, 2026.

The Cooper Endeavor Plus finished third of seven and earned Recommended in the 2026 Tire Reviews highway-terrain all-season test in 265/65 R18. Wet braking was second at 55.1 meters, just 0.6% longer than the best, and it led curved aquaplaning and dirt handling. Comfort and exterior noise both placed second, while dry handling was second, 1% behind the fastest. The tester valued its balanced performance across road and dirt use rather than a narrow specialism.

The limitations were mostly relative gaps to the leaders. Wet handling was fourth, 2.7% behind, despite the much stronger wet-braking result. Straight aquaplaning was fifth, though only 1.3% behind, so its standing-water advantage was clearer in bends. Snow braking and handling were both third with modest gaps, but snow traction was fourth and 24.8% behind the best. Rolling resistance was midfield at fourth, 20.3% higher than the lowest. The cost-per-distance result was fifth and based on the mileage warranty, so it does not establish measured tread life. This single test supports a broadly capable touring choice with comfort strengths and some remaining wet-pace and efficiency compromises.
