promobil 2026 All Season Motorhome and Van Tire Test P1 of 6

The test winner, rated very good by promobil. The Continental VanContact 4Season took the win on the strength of its handling and cornering reserves in every condition, with no weak area on snow. Buyers who put the shortest possible wet braking distance above everything else will find the Goodyear and Michelin stronger there, but as an all-round package for a motorhome it was the most complete tire in the test.

Show more Hi, I would like to mount this tire on a Jeep Cherokee XJ 1995. the size fits and the speed rating is ok. The only thing is the load rating is a lot higher compared to tires I am using now (General grabber HTS 225/70/15 100T). I would be passing from a 100 load rating to 110/112. I read that a higher rating is ok normally, but is it ok with such a grat increasement? Show less

Good question. That's quite a jump in load rating, and while it will be fine to fit, you might notice some less desirable changes in noise and comfort.
