Initial Impressions

Good dry grip and low noise. Not very comfortable tire but I blame the sporty suspension for that as well as TPMS valve that require tires to be around 2.5-2.7Bar more than tire but it is an XL tire made for load not comfort.
Biggest disappointment is how quickly tires wore down using combined driving style and A and B roads, DCs and Motorways. Now at just above 15k miles, tires started slipping in the wet during normal breaking/driving making me careful when cornering and forcing me to be be wary in the wet conditions. I was also advised to think about replacing them as some are ~60~65% worn.

I’ve driven the Continental PCC tires for 34,000 km on my MG4. Overall, the tire performance has been average—not particularly bad, but not outstanding either. It delivers acceptable durability, though the tread wear pattern raises some concerns about long-term reliability. Recently, I noticed some chips appearing on the tread hence I came here to find a better replacement.

The Continental PremiumContact-C came as the factory-fitted standard tires on my 2023 MG4 Excite 64. I would not recommend them.
After only 27,000 km, both rear tires are already down to 3 mm, which is very poor wear. Comfort and noise level is acceptable on dry roads, but wet-weather performance is very bad, handling is poor and the car feels unstable and prone to skidding on wet road.

Overall, not suitable for an electric vehicle with instant torque, and I won’t be buying these again.

The SEAL U DM-i Boost, original equipment, is the worst tire I've ever had. It's noisy, squeals even when cornering on the highway, and is dangerous on wet roads; the front end loses traction easily. Don't buy it, especially on an electric vehicle (considering the price, it's a big mistake to buy this tire). I'm going to look at HANKOOK, YOKOHAMA, GT-RADIAL, or SEALUN, which will be much better suited to this vehicle and offer a far better performance-to-price ratio than this (so-called) Continental Premium C.

Original tire on BYD SEAL U DM-i (235 50 R19 99V)
Tires that often sing on dry roads
And which slip at every opportunity on slightly damp floors
Selling them for €210 is an unbelievable scam
A real horror, I can't wait to replace them, given the Specs I think I'll go for the GT-RADIAL SportActive2 or Michelin Latitude Sport if not available.

The PremiumContact-C model was the factory wheel for my 2023 electric MG4. I would never recommend it for rear-wheel drive and electric vehicles. It slips very easily and the abs is activated everytime. It does not give confidence even at low speeds on wet surfaces. When you try to take off quickly, it skids immediately.
