So I have to say, as all season tires go, these are a revelation.

They follow the Michelin CrossClimate Plus tires in terms of being a bit more summer biased, however, these are more capable in the winter.

They are not as quiet or as comfortable as the Michelin's, nor do they wear as well, however they do excel at providing much better grip in all conditions.

This being said, the great winter grip and tread is excellent. Also, the wide sidewalls do a great job of protecting the alloy rims too.

I genuinely think these are utterly excellent and will be buying them again in the future.

Have just replaced a set of crossclimates for these contis and very impressed so far. Very good feedback, less sidewall roll than the michelins and altogether giving more confidence in cornering speed in both dry and wet. what bit of snow slush and ice driven on still gives positive grip and feedback. very difficult to spin out with 4wd and uprated ecu map.

Initially tested on very wet and slushy country roads and additionally on 5-10 cm compacted snow in the mountains. Tires appeared to perform as well in these conditions as my full winter tires (Nokian WR D4). Dry braking performance in the 0-8 degree range seems very good but fast cornering and general dry handling was lacking a little to my summer Pirelli's when the temperatures were nearer 8 degrees. Still sufficient dry handling for all but the most spirited of drives I would say. Early impressions are good, more winter and dry testing needed but the wet performance has been exemplary. No wear yet so too early to give a wear rating.
