BFGoodrich Urban Terrain TA Owner Reviews

Review this tire

What owners say summarised from 16 reviews

Owners generally like the BFGoodrich Urban Terrain TA for its tread life and ability on snow and loose surfaces. Around half the reviews praise snow traction or off-road ability, while several mid-life and end-of-life accounts describe slow wear or useful mileage. Dry grip and ride comfort also attract praise, with fewer comments reporting reassuring wet grip. Noise is the main reservation, mentioned in roughly four in ten reviews, and around one in five reports higher fuel consumption. The one returning owner remained very positive at replacement, although that final account noted more noise and poorer economy as the tread wore down.

Had these tires on a sportage for around 20000 miles excellent grip on all kinds of surface but extremely impressed on snow and also ice, wear is minimal after 3 years, I was a bit reluctant to buy them at first as they were a fairly new tire then but apart from a bit more road noise than the hankook tires that were on previously I will certainly buy them again.

Very positive feel in the dry and much improved feedback in the wet. Feels a big improvement over the Yoko's previously fitted. So far has handled loose surfaces and wet grass with ease. Unknown on snow but tire does list M+S on sidewall.
Time will tell on wear but happy with choice.

Just purchased and less than 100 miles on them so far. I will say they ride and grip much better than the stock tire that came on my RAV 4.
