Across four summer tire tests spanning 2012-2026, the Accelera PHI shows a clear pattern of consistently finishing at or near the bottom of its test groups, indicating major deficits in core performance. The tire's most persistent shortfall is wet-weather safety and control, where it records very large gaps to the best tires and last-place rankings in multiple wet disciplines.
The only recurring positives appear in secondary/ownership metrics rather than outright grip: it can be relatively competitive for noise, rolling resistance and subjective comfort in the one test with those measurements reported. Overall, the data suggests a budget tire optimized more for refinement/efficiency than for braking and handling performance-especially in the wet.

2012 EVO Max Performance Tire Test
Finishing bottom of the table in nearly every test secured the Accelera its last place, however EVO noted it wasn't as bad as some of the other budgets tested in previous years. As is the norm with budget tires, it was capable in the dry but lacked grip, composure and safety when the surface changed to wet.
