Writing about the Metzeler Roadtec 01 Scooter given 96% (120-70-15)
Driving on mostly town for 5500 average miles
Absolutely confidence instilling tires in almost all conditions, only haven't tried them in snowy weather. Dry grip is comfortable and also enabled me to test the limits of my bike like I have not before. The majority of my riding happens with a pillion and both of us felt the comfort as we switched to these.

With my previous tires, the wet grip was poor enough that I was being unnecessarily cautious to a point where they were taking my focus away from traffic. Now, the opposite is possible.

I try to use as less brake as possible with my riding style and the wear so far seems good, I am hoping to reach 15000km at least.

Unless Metzeler makes an even better tire, I don't see myself buying a different brand or model. These honestly feel like the absolute best there is for all-year riding.

Driving on mostly town for 1370 easy going miles
Nearing 2500km with these tires. The main issue has been for me the wet performance. I am already a cautious rider, mostly riding casually and these tires on wet surfaces force me to be even more careful. It gets even worse with a pillion. The fact that I have to watch out for the tire rather than the opposite is pretty annoying in itself. Coming from almost 6000km on Anakees to these felt like a downgrade.

The dry performance on the other hand feels good but there is a caveat, building up heat somewhat feels longer compared to most other brands' tires. So, if you want to throw your scooter around for some fun, you need to ready the tires first properly.

In terms of comfort, as long as you stick to the recommended pressures, they carry you well. I live in a city with a pretty bad asphalt maintenance and they held up well so far in this regard.

Driving on a combination of roads for 5000 spirited miles
Since this is a tire only suitable for scooters the review is for scooters.
The tire works really well on motorways & A roads were the grip is far better than the scooter can use.
In towns and cities it still works well due to the reduced speed but suffers on poor surfaces.
On country roads the tire reacts constantly to overbanding and undulations which affect the steering.
If I were riding a superscooter between towns or cities on motorways and A roads I would buy the same again, if I were riding mainly on poor surfaced country roads I would not buy the same again.
