After reading review I thought I would give them a go. Bought a pair from MyTires at a very good price and fitted them myself. First impressions were very good, smooth and good stability but after only 1,800 miles I noticed the rear was well worn and now after 2,100 miles it is down to the legal limit of 1.6mm and this is supposed to be a sport touring tire! I don`t think so.

Haven't had them in the wet so I am guessing, the same with wear. I have however done a few miles and loved them. I was going to buy the Dunlop sportsmart thinking that the Pirelli's would be to hardcore but they're not they warmed up quickly and the duel compound gives confidence in the corner. They are quick to turn in and feel plush from the off. The drop into corners was quicker and more progressive than my last tires. These are very sticky tires and I love the levels of grip they are giving. Don't know what they will be like in the bad weather but I don't intend to find out. I would definitely recommend these tires Bike magazine was right in giving them four stars (there is no 5 star). They also look good on the bike. I would buy these again and I am happy I didn't get the Sportsmarts.
