Ford Capri Rs Tire Review Highlights

Writing about the Yokohama S306 given 76% (185-70-13-H)
Driving on a combination of roads for 15000 easy going miles
I have had the tires on the car for over 10 years, they have covered about 15.000 miles.
The dimensions are 185/70R13 86H.
After over a decade the rubber is a bit hard, but they still have a good amount of tread left, so they have been excellent in longevity, i am changing them this year since they just are quite old and in the rain they don't grip well enough anymore.
On dry pavement they still have good grip.
Road noise is not very loud, they are comfortable to drive on.
I am replacing them with Pirelli Cinturato CN36 185/70R13 86V tires.

Driving on track for 10000 spirited miles
I really don't understand why someone rate this tire so bad ?!
So far this was the best tire I had for rain driving. Good response and
if drifting on the Nürburgring Nordschleife the car was very stable in the rain. It breaks good, corners good in the dry and in the rain.
Last very long!

you have to drive this tire with a little bit less pressure than others. but if you do that, the tire performs well.
As a race driver I can say: This is a great tire for everyday driving and makes fun even on the Racetrack.

In my opinion, it can be compared with Conti Sport Contact 3 or Michelin Pilot Sport.

The overall performance is great! Best tire for the money. If you want something better, than pay twice the price!
