The 7 BEST All Weather Tires Tested P7 of 7

The Toyo Celsius AS2 is well priced and good in the snow but thanks to limited grip in the dry, wet and ice, and a high rolling resistance, it is difficult to recommend this tire as a year round product.

Performance Analysis

Drawn from 1 tests. Updated October 29, 2026.

The Toyo Celsius 2 finished last of seven in Tire Reviews’ 2025 all-weather test in 225/65 R17. Wet braking was 8th of 8, 30.8% behind the best, and wet handling was also 8th, 5.6% behind. Ice braking and traction were both last of eight, with deficits of 31.1% and 79.7%. Dry braking ranked 6th of 8, 23.4% behind, while straight aquaplaning was last of seven. These results support the testers’ reservations about wet and dry stopping distances, aquaplaning resistance and ice grip, rather than a balanced year-round assessment.

There were positives, but they need context. Subjective dry handling ranked 2nd of 7 despite a timed result of 7th of 8. The testers also praised snow ability, although the timed snow-handling lap was last of eight, an unusual contrast to that favorable verdict; snow traction was a more competitive 4th of 8. Subjective noise ranked 2nd of 7. Its lowest price per mile was calculated from the mileage warranty, not observed service life, and rolling resistance was 6th of 7, 21.3% behind the best. The single-test record therefore supports some favorable feel, noise and warranty-based value findings alongside substantial measured grip limitations.
