Dry handling was the clear strength of the Pirelli P Zero All Season Plus in the 2022/23 Tire Reviews UHP all season test, but it finished fourth of four overall. It led the close dry-handling group at 69.53 seconds and received the highest subjective score, with praise for quick steering. Braking did not match that response: dry stopping distance was last at 40.6 m, 9% longer than the best, and wet braking last at 35.6 m, 18.4% longer.
Snow performance was the larger compromise within this four-tire UHP all season field. It was last in braking, traction and handling, with gaps of 22.3%, 27.9% and 15.9% respectively. The testers described limited snow grip and lower comfort, with subjective comfort also last. Wet handling was fourth on lap time, 4.6% slower than the best, but third subjectively, so the favorable dry-road character did not carry across surfaces. Rolling resistance was third, 6.5% above the best.
