The Imperial EcoSport SUV shows a consistently weak overall test profile, finishing 9th of 10 in 2026, 10th of 11 in 2022, and 10th of 10 in 2021, with an average overall position of 9.7. Its main appeal is low purchase price, where it ranked 1st in both SUV tests that measured price, plus occasional strengths in straight aquaplaning and loose-surface traction. However, these isolated positives do not offset its poor safety-critical road performance.
The tire's most serious weakness is wet performance, especially wet braking and wet handling, where it repeatedly finished near or at the bottom and was around 20% or more behind the best in wet braking across all three tests.
